Elena's POV

I personally wrote that song. As I scroll down to the comment section puro positive feedbacks ang nakikita ko. Nakakataba ng puso.

'OMGG ANG GANDA TALAGA NG BOSES NIYA!!'

'i couldn't imagine a person singing with such an angelic voice'

'Shes a goddess!'

'Hands down for Elena'

'Elena's songs are my medicine'

I can't help it but to smile. Reading comments and feedbacks like this always set up my mood. I released my song entitled Here's the Past which is related to my grandfather who passed away last year.

I started composing songs when I was little and didn't imagine that I'd bring it until now. I'm also starting to make my name in the Philippines.

I immediately turned my gaze at the person who entered my room.

"I have a good news!" Nakangiting sabi ni Philip. He's my manager and at the same time a close friend of mine. A family.

What is this?

OMG!

I AM INVITED TO MELISSA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Wow. I picked up my phone and dialed her number. She's my classmate from college and we've been good friends ever since.

"Hey, did you receive my invitation?" I heard her speaking from the other side. "Do you mind if I ask you to sing for-"

"No! Of course not! I mean I wanted to sing for you. Oh God all this time finally you'll let me sing for you." I said, freaking out.

"Okay then, I'll wait for you okay?" she answered and hung up the call.

No words can express how happy I am. Melissa is also a close friend and ever since we're college everytime I ask her if I can sing for her she automatically say no to me. I don't know the reason why. But this time, for the very first time she herself ask me.

Nakangiti ako at saka niyakap si Philip. I pulled myself from him, "You are invited too, right?" I asked.

Tila lumungkot ang mukha niya. "Of course, I am!" agad ko siyang hinampas sa balikat. "Easy Ele, I'm just playing around." aniya at sinundan pa ng tawa. Sinamaan ko lang ito ng tingin.

Syempre, Philip must be inviting too. As far as I can remember they had a 'thing' before. We met during our college days, me and Melissa were classmates while Philip had to join one of our subjects. That's where we started our friendship.

"Wait kailan ba 'yan?"

"Later. 10 pm at Xiohue Hotel."

Xiohue Hotel. I guess I heard it somewhere because it sounds familiar to me. Let me think first.

Pinaningkitan ko ng mata si Philip and napaisip kung saan ang Xiohue Hotel na 'to. Agad akong napatakip sa bibig.

When I realized where is it, hindi ako makapaniwalan. Ngiting ngiti si Philip habang tumatango. He's like confirming that we're thinking the same thing.
