four kingdoms, 12 Royals each with their own powers that are yet to be discovered. There is a celebration done on a yearly basis where all the kings and queens of all four kingdoms gather around and have fun to keep the peace between the kingdoms.

History of the kingdoms
Long ago, around a century ago. There was only one Kingdom in existence called Sabel. They all lives in harmony under one king and one queen until both of the royals died of mysterious causes with no descendants to take their place.
The kingdom began to collapse, everyone was fighting over who was going to take over the throne, of course there were laws that stated what to do in a situation like this, but some people thought of themselves as above the law.
The kingdom ended up breaking into four different kingdoms. Unfortunately, the land was not seperated equally, the kingdom of Fowl was able to conquer the smallest amount of land with not as much resources. The kingdom of Wurro had some trouble with resources as well but it wasn't as worse as Fowl's. On the other hand, the kingdom of Obnow held a decent environment and good recourses to fulfil the people's needs and wants. The original kingdom of Sabel still stood and had control over most of the land and more recourses then they needed.
Every year the Kings and Queens of each kingdom would gather up in one of the kingdoms and have a ball in order to keep the peace. For the first time in history, they decided to invite the young princes and princesses as well. That was the day the fight broke out.
