Jungkook woke up the next morning with a terrible hangover. He felt like his head would blast anytime soon. 'Waking up sick day two jungkook. Amazing.' He silently cursed himself for drinking too much.

When his eyes adjusted to the lightning he looked around to see that he was in his bed, again, miraculously intact. As if on cue, memories from last night came flooding in. "He left. Again." Jungkook smiled sadly to himself.

He didn't even knew why he had expected the elder to keep his promise in the first place. "Buckle up Jungkook. You are on your own again." He said to himself and got off the bed making his way towards the kitchen to cook some hangover soup for himself.

But when Jungkook reached the kitchen his eyes nearly popped out of his head at the sight of the male standing in the kitchen.

Taehyung was pouring pancake batter on the pan with an apron tied around his waist securely.

"Y-you stayed?" Jungkook spoke out loud which made Taehyung turn in surprise.

"Geez! You scared me! Come here." He asked while his hands were still busy with the breakfast. "Do you like pancakes?" He asked again when Jungkook was almost standing next to him, head peeking from behind Taehyung's shoulders. "Mhmm.." Kookie replied. He could almost feel his stomach growl at the sight of food and oh it smelled heavenly for jungkook has had a sweet tooth for as long as he remembered.

"Great! Just a few minutes and breakfast will be ready!" Taehyung replied satisfied with his choice of breakfast. "And oh if you need some hangover soup, it's by the microwave."

"I mean I'm not saying I have a hangover, but... I can hear light right now." Jungkook said and took the bowl to sit on the dining table. It didn't take long for Taehyung to join.

Jungkook couldn't help but moan after taking the first bite of the pancakes. The sweet aroma mixed with that velvety taste was pure ecstasy.

Unknown to Jungkook a certain raven head felt his throat go dry when he heard the younger moan. "Is it good?" Taehyung asked after clearing his throat to shake off all the unwanted thoughts. "You can easily compete with the chefs at la patisserie. Ten on ten." Jungkook replied while stuffing his face with food.

Taehyung smiled at the compliment but regained his posture almost immediately. 'Get a grip Kim Taehyung' He scolded himself mentally.

"Oh by the way Yoongi hyung called or more like Jimin called. He couldn't reach your phone. I told him you were asleep so he asked you to call him as soon as you wake up." Taehyung spoke when he remembered the call from earlier while eating his own share of the pancakes.

"That's strange... I didn't get any calls tho" Jungkook muttered while taking out his phone from his pocket but then realised that his phone was discharged. "No wonder I didn't get any calls. So smart of you Jungkook." Jungkook sighed.

"Hyung can I use your phone instead? Mine is dead." Jungkook asked Taehyung who hummed and gave his phone to the younger almost immediately.

"Hyung the pass-" "My birthday" Taehyung replied before the younger could even finish asking.

Jungkook typed the password in an instant and dialled Jimin's number while still chewing on his food. But this small action of his didn't go unnoticed by Taehyung. He had expected Jungkook to ask for the exact password in annoyance but when the younger typed the password with the speed of lightning he couldn't help but feel that something was amiss.

'We aren't close enough to know each other's birthdays, like fuck I treated him like he was the worst thing that has ever happened to me then why does he remember it? Is there something I've missed all this while? Why can't I remember him when he behaves like he has known me for ages?'
