Chapter 25

The next morning, Kayla smiled when she woke up and saw Hunter.
The memories of last night came rushing back to her, and she couldn't help but blush.
"Hey, kid." Hunter slowly opened his eyes.
"Hi." Kayla faced him.
Hunter pulled Kayla, putting her on top of his stomach to lay.
He then kissed her.
Kayla stopped the kiss and said, "we'd better get ready. We need to go to the park."
Hunter sighed, then said, "Yeah....one last kiss."
Before he could kiss her. Kayla got up and then said, "Dont start something. You're not going to end."
Hunter chuckled as he got up and changed.
After they got ready to eat breakfast, they went to the park.
"Kayla, did you notice anything yesterday?" Xavier asked.
Kayla thought about it for a second, then remember, "Yeah. I noticed the bushes rustling, and then, after a few minutes, it stopped."
They all walked over to the bushed and looked around.
They did some searches for almost an hour.
"Can we go? I'm tired." Kayla moaned as she rested her forehead on Hunters chest.
Hunter sighed as he put his hand on her head and rubbed it. "Yeah. Let's go, we'll do more searching tomorrow."
They got back in the cars and drove home.
Hunter put his hand on Kaylas thight as the other was on the wheel.
Kayla couldn't hide her smile.
"What?" Hubter laughed knowingly.
"Nothing." Kayla giggled.
"Why u smiling so much?" Hunter teased.
Kayla picked her feet up on the seat and buried her head in her knees, and she continued to laugh quietly.
Kayla looked out the window, and her smile faded when she noticed Noahs car.
"Noah..?" She whispered.
"Hm?" Hunter looked at her.
"Is Noah following us?" She asked.
Hubter looked at his rear view mirror and was confused. "Yeah, he is.."
Hunter decided to pull up at the diamond lounge because it was the closest club.
He entered with Kayla, and they sat at the bar.
"Hey you." Ryder, the bartender spoke.
"Oh, hi." Kayla smiled.
Hunter took Kaylas hand and sat her down on his lap "That's smile is for me and me only."
"Possessive much?" Kayla teased.
Hunter gave her a blank stare, then just kissed on her neck.
He stopped when he saw Noah walk in.
Hunter and kayla stood up.
Kayla watched as Hunter and Noah got close to each other.
Hunter looked down at Noah with murder in his eyes. "What?"
"I just came to collect what's mine." Noah said.
Hubter raised his eyebrow at Noah.
Before Hunter could speak, Noah walked to Kayla. "Let's go, baby."
"Fuck off." Hunter pushed Noah harshly.
"Bro. Was I talking to you?" Noah asked, reaching for Kaylas arm.
Hubter pulled Kayla close to him. "Do not touch my wife."
"You wife?" Noah snickered. "Come Kayla." He gripped on her arm.
Hunter felt livid as he punched Noah in his face.
Noah didn't hesitate as he ran back up to Hunter and tried to punch his but Hunter gripped Noah my his collar. Noah did the same to Hunter.
People pushed past Kayla as they went to stop the fight.
People struggles to stop Hunter from beating up Noah but when they did, he walked back to Kayla and put his arm around her waist. "Never touch her ever again!" Hunter yelled, making everyone silent.
They walked back to the car and were silent on thr drive home until Hunter finally spoke. "Im sorry Kayla."
Kayla looked at him. "What for?"
"I know you get scared from things like that. And I didn't mean to scare you." He apologised.
Kayla smiled at him "it's okay." She locked her hand in his.
After a while she said "Hunter?"
"Yeah?"
"Can we make a stop at the park?" She asked.
"How about I take you tonight?" He replied "there going to be fireworks and I want to take you to see it."
"That's sounds good." She smiled.
When they arrived home, Mia asked "Where were you two?"
"We bumped into Noah." Kayla sighed as she sat near Mia. She rested her head against Mia's.
"That's idiot? What did he want." Mia replied
"Kayla." Hunter took a sip of his energy drink "he wanted Kayla."
"It's just a stupid game to him." Kayla scoffed.
"He only wants you because I have you." Hunter put his drink down.
Kayla walked up to Hunter and went infront of him. She wrapped her arms around him with the side of her head pressed against his chest. "I love you."
"I love you too, princess." He hugged her back and kissed her head.
"Awe." The girls all squealed.
"When are we going?" Kayla asked
"Hows 8?" Hunter replied.
"Perfect." Kayla smiled as she let go of Hunter.
"Another date?" Nick asked as he walked up to Hunter. "My boys got game."
Hunter chuckled at Nicks comment.
