Chapter 12

"We're back!" Mia squealed as she ran in the house with several bags.
"Oh god. Damien. I thought you would keep an eye on her." Hunter sighed
"I did. Your cousin is out of control." Damien locked the door.
"Shut up. Both of you." Mia said.
"So, what did you buy?" Ace asked.
"I bought us all matching pyjamas." Mia squealed.
Hunter raised his eyebrow at her.
"Dont worry." Mia started off. "We all know how you will wear no vibrant colours, so I got us all black."
"Okay, let's change." Hunter said, taking a bag from Mia.
Kayla groaned as she followed Hunter upstairs.
"Let's see what Mia bought then." Kayla said as she went in front of Hunter and opened the bag.
She picked out a black cropped top that said "princess" and black shorts with a little crown in the corner.
"Oh my god." Kayla giggled.
Hunter picked up a black t-shirt that said, "Prince." And black joggers with a crown in the corner, just like Kaylas.
Hunter snorted, then took his shirt off.
"Stop changing in front of me!" Kayla ran to the bathroom.
Hunter let out a soft chuckle as he continued to change.
After a few minutes, Kayla came back into the bedroom with her pyjamas on. She put her hair in 2 little pigtails.
She picked her phone up and started to take mirror pictures of herself.
After she took a few, Hunter popped up behind her and put his hands around her waist.
"What are you doing?" She sighed.
"Come on. Take the photos." He said.
Kayla sighed as she took photos.
"Oh, that one's actually cute. I'm gonna post it." She smiled.
Hunter looked down at her, smirking.
After she posted it, she looked up at him. "What?"
"I didn't say anything." He shrugged with a smirk.
"Okay!" She laughed as she removed his hands from her hips.
"Kayla! Hunter! Come down now!" Vicky screamed from the theatre room.
"Comin!" Hunter yelled.
They headed down and entered the room.
"Aww, you look adorable!" Mia said, pinching Kaylas' cheeks.
"Okay, are you drunk?" Kayla laughed.
"Please, the only person who gets very drunk in here is you." Sofia laughed to Kayla.
"Haha. Very funny." Kayla said sarcastically.
"Come on, let's start the movie." Belle said as she sat down with Nick.
Everyone sat down as the movie started.
"Nick, pass the sour gummies." Hunter said, from the back row of the theatre room.
"Here." Nick replied as he gave it.
"You want one?" Hunter whispered to Kayla as he opened the packet.
"No, i hate those." Kayla replied in a tired voice.
"Are you crazy? This is the best sweet you'll ever find." Hunter chucked.
He got one out and gave it to Kayla.
"No, Hunter, that's gross." Kayla yawned.
As she opened her mouth, Hunter shoved a sour gummy bear in.
She closed her mouth and looked at him as he snickered.
"That's gross." She said as she opened his hand and spat it in his hand.
"No, that's gross." Hunter replied before eating it from his hand.
"Ew! That's gross." Kayla laughed.
"Can you two love birds keep it down back there?" Belle asked.
"Love birds?" Kayla snickered.
Hunter and Kayla faced each other and then laughed together. "That's gross.
As Kayla reached for the popcorn, Hunter spoke, "You got some tiny hands."
"No, you just have big hands." Kayla replied.
Hunter held her hand against his to compare the sizes.
"Get off me, you weirdo." Kayla said, taking her hand back.
"It's not weird if you're my wife, now is it?" Hunter asked
"Oh, right." Kayla mumbled.
After the movie finished, Belle turned the lights on before stretching. "Nicky, let's go to bed."
"Come on." Nick replied as he got up and went to their bedroom.
Everyone got up and started to leave.
"Hunter, take your princess to bed." Greyson said.
Hunter looked at Kayla and saw her sleeping with her head rested on his shoulder.
"Oh Hunter, can you tell Kayla the cafe is closed for the bank holiday tomorrow?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah." Hunter replied as he picked Kayla up and cradled her in his arms.
He took her to their bedroom and placed her in the king-sized bed.
Hunter brushed his teeth and then got into bed near Kayla after turning the lights off.
Before he went to sleep, he got a message. Hunter groaned as he picked his phone up.
Eddie: Did you tell her yet?
Hunter: Not yet. I'm working on it.
Eddie: You have to tell her soon. If the Ravenwoods strike, she needs to be able to fight.
Hunter sighed at the message
Hunter: She's sleeping right now. I'll tell her tomorrow.
Eddie: Make sure you do.
Hunter put his phone down. He just got things right with Kayla, and now he had to mess it all up by telling her something she should've known when she was a kid.
