Chapter 21

Nag tatawanan kami habang papauwi na sa Barangay Tubo, we are riding a motorcycle and the first time that I saw this motorcycle, nagulat ako kasi ang cute. 

"Okay my turn! There are many mango trees on my farm, and I also have a cow that was resting  under the mango tree, all of a sudden, there's a mango fruit na nahulog malapit sa kinahihigaan ng cow, and the cow immediately runs. Bakit siya tumakbo?". She asked me, at dahil lang sa bugtong niya ay tawang tawa na ako. 

"Oh my ghad Noris! You're so good at jokes. Let me analyze it first! There's a cow under a tree and he runs when there's a fruit na nahulog. Okay it's basic, he runs because he didn't wanna be hit by the falling mango". I said confidently. She laughed at my answer.

"What? Did I get it right?". Tanung ko sa kaniya. We're now at barangay number four, after nito ay barangay tubo na. 

"No. Give me another guess". Banggit niya. She's busy driving the motorcycle, habang ako nakayakap lang sa bewang niya.

After nang ferris wheel ride kanina ay kumain kami sa isang stall, burger, fries and drinks. This is my first date with a girl and I won't deny that this is the best, hindi man kami nag date sa fancy restaurant, sa mga luxurious places but she took me somewhere na alam niyang mag eenjoy kaming dalawa. She's so down to earth and I must keep her.

"Ano na, hindi naman mahirap ang tanong ko eh". Biro pa niya.

"Tumakbo ang baka dahil nagulat siya. Yes, that's the right answer! Now you owe me an ice cream". Masayang pahayag ko.

"Still wrong. Sirit ka na?". Natatawang tanong niya.

"Ano pa bang dapat na sagot. Tumakbo siya because he's afraid to be hit by the falling mango, and he immediately runs because of nagulat siya. What else?". Tanong ko ulit.

"He runs because he wants to get salt". Tumaas ang kilay ko at napa palo ako sa braso niya. She laughed at my reaction. 

"What the heck, anong meron sa asin?". Tanong ko.

"Hindi mo pa rin gets? He runs to get salt for the mango, because salt and mango is a great combination. Ngayon, gets mo na?". She asked me again at sa pag kakataon na ito ay sobrang natawa na ako sa sobrang legwak ng joke niya.

"Oh my goodness Noris!". I was still laughing.

"Saan mo napulot ang joke na yan and I will educate them?". Natatawang tanong ko. 

"Sa tabi tabi. I heard it from my lola Bering". Pahayag niya. After she said that she parked the motorcycle sa gilid ng puno at inalis niya mula sa ulo ko ang helmet.

And then she smiled when she saw my messy hair, she brushed it gently and she pecked my lips.

"Let's go get a rest for tomorrow, dalawang date pa ang nag hihintay sayo wife". She said to me kaya bigla akong na curious. 

"What kind of date?". I asked happily at kumapit sa braso niya habang papasok kami sa bamboo house. 

"Save it for tomorrow, basta kailangan mo ng rest.". Tumango nalang ako at nag pasyang mag hugas muna ng katawan bago dumeretso sa kwarto. 

"Pst? Where are you going?". I asked her nang nag simula siyang lumabas sa kwarto.

"Sa sofa". She simply said.

"Come here, we're a couple right? Let's sleep together". Aya ko sa kaniya and she smiled.

"Good Night Noris". I whispered.
