Sweet

Kevin took Kaia to the staff only roof top cafe on the company building. It was almost empty at this time of day as everyone was in the office. 

Kevin ordered latte for both of them and some cup cakes for her. 

Kaia : i don't need any sweets!

Kevin : You must, sweets help in cutting the bitterness of life a little. (gently smiling) 

She took a bite from the beautifully decorated cupcake. It made her nostalgic about the days when her grandmother make of her muffins and cupcakes on weekends. After she passed away Kaia did'nt ate these thereafter. Her eyes became teary while thinking about her granny and little sad smile formed on her face. She knew no matter what she do she could never bring those days back. 

Kevin : I'm glad you liked these but you don't have to cry. 

Kaia : I'm not crying, and these are pathetic i don't wanna eat anymore. 

Kevin : Fine Missy ! by the way Nav told me to give you this.

Kaia : A cellphone? 

Kevin : Your first task is to persuade Brett to bring the other half of Black orlov. You have got two days to do that. 

Kaia : What ! are you out of your mind, why would he ever do that? 

Kevin handed her a red velvet box. She opened it and she was struck by the beauty of a magnificent diamond in the case. Her eyes opened wide it shimmered more than the stars in the sky.

Kaia : Is this...! ( she gasped) The Black orlov? 

Kevin : Aren't you smart. It is! you can use it as a bait to persuade Brett. But be careful, you need to convince him to bring the other half too. On top of that take care of the diamond, its more precious than anybody's life.

Kaia : So that as soon as he come here, you kill him and get both the pieces. ( she completed his sentence) 

Kevin : Exactly! People can predict attacks from enemies but backstabbing ally can't be  anticipated.

Kaia : Why it has to be me? 

Kevin : You shouldn't have come here at the first place but...

" But now there is no going back kitten" Nav said while walking towards them along with a dozens for his men.

Both of them stood up. Kevin bowed to him and Kaia trying not to look at him in disgust. 

Nav : What did i disturb your little coffee date? hun ( raising an eyebrow) 

Kevin : Sir i  explained her the plan , she will do it. .

Nav : really? i wanna hear it from her mouth. 

He take a few steps towards her she tried to steps back but there was railing and couldn't step further. Nav wiped the icing on the corner of her lips with his thumb. 

" You ate cupcake? I see you are having a good time here" Nav almost hovering on her. She suddenly pushed him back. 

All the body guards pointed loaded guns on her. 

" Sir i am gonna kill her for this audacity!" 

" PUT THESE DAMN GUNS DOWN!( Nav shouted on them and grabbed the collar of that guard ) How dare you! ( punched him hard,knocking him down) NO BODY EVEN LAY EYES ON HER ACCEPT ME AND BLOODY YOU TRIED TO SHOOT HER" 

Everyone lowered their heads not to look at her. " Better !"- said Nav

He grabbed her hand  and took her out of the cafe. 

" you are coming with me, i need teach you some manners too"
