Mr. Han nodded and smiled at her, and then Jisoo closed the door again.
She got inside their house. The hallway was still what it was when she left. Except the lights inside their main living room were in dimmed mode and the atmosphere is a bit sad.
She slowly opened the much more shining light to see the whole room. She can see the sofa that she and Eunwoo spend most of their free time together, just watching each other's dramas. And then the kitchen that she loved the most. And then she spotted the guest room that she used to sleep into when they were still one week officially a couple. She slowly opened the door, not making any noise that would be heard by Eunwoo in the master's bedroom.
"This room smells a bit untidy to me," she said, smelling the scent of the unchanged bed sheets and curtains of the room.
Jisoo closed the door and proceeded to the master's where she thought she would find Eunwoo. She slowly turns the knob and peaks inside first before fully opening it and getting inside.
"Eunwoo?," she called his name.
No response.
"I just want to check if you are alright. If you don't want me to be in here, I won't stay long. Just let me check you and I—," she can't finish her speech when suddenly someone hugged her from behind.
She can clearly remember the touch, fingers, scent, and even his heartbeat.
"Shh, you don't need to say anything. I know how hurt you are now, and I want to let you know that I'm here with you. You can cry on my shoulder and tell me everything you want to," Jisoo said, caressing his head with her one hand and the other holding his hands around her waist.
Eunwoo buried his head on Jisoo's neck, holding her tight.
"I... I missed you so damn much," Eunwoo said.
Jisoo exhaled deeply now she really regretted leaving him alone for one whole week.
"I missed you too," Jisoo replied.
She turned around to face him. She cupped his cheeks and caressed them. She gave him a sad smile and she stared at his eyes.
"I promise I won't leave you again. Ever," Jisoo added.
"I won't let you. Ever," Eunwoo replied.
"Now come let's lay on the bed and cuddle together," Jisoo invited him.
Eunwoo let his wife drag him to their bed. She untuck the duvet, and they both got in the thick duvet.
They lay together and Jisoo was giving Eunwoo a head massage, and he was hugging her tight like a child.
"Where did you go?," Eunwoo suddenly asked.
'He doesn't want to talk about Moonbin. I mean, even me, if that happens to one of my closest friends, I would not want to talk about it all the time because it hurts,' Jisoo thought, putting herself on Eunwoo's shoes right now.
"I... I came home," Jisoo replied.
"You go to your home? You mean the one with your parent's?," Eunwoo asked, but he is not looking at her.
"Ahuh," Jisoo replied also nodding her head.
"How did they react?," Eunwoo curiosly asked.
"I'm the one who got surprised because they are both at home that day," Jisoo replied.
"Really? Even your dad?," Eunwoo asked again.
"Yes, he was inside the house when my mom was outside just returning home from sight seeing around our garden," Jisoo replied.
