10th member's first time celebrating Mother's Day

The request: ok so, I saw your newest 10th member scenario and I found it adorable so I have a request, maybe you could do it where the 10th member did not have a good childhood with her parents so she never celebrated mothers day or fathers day so on mothers day she spent time with Jihyo and Jeongyeon who have been 10 members mother figures since 10th member joined TWICE ~🐣

The sun's warm rays spilt into the dormitory room, casting a gentle glow upon the ten members of TWICE as they slowly stirred from their slumber. Today was a special day, Mother's Day! While most people would be celebrating with their families, Y/N, the 10th member of TWICE and dear maknae, found herself at a loss. Her childhood had been stained by a difficult relationship with her parents, leaving her with little experience in celebrating such occasions. But her fellow members, Jihyo and Jeongyeon, also known as Mom or Mama most days, had become her rock and maternal figures since she joined the group.

As Y/N rubbed her eyes and sat up, her heart felt heavy. She had never celebrated Mother's Day before, and the absence of her biological parents' love still haunted her. She quietly slipped out of bed, her footsteps barely making a sound as she made her way to the kitchen. Meanwhile, Jihyo and Jeongyeon, who had always been observant of Y/N's emotions, exchanged concerned glances. They knew that this day could potentially be difficult for their youngest member. With a shared understanding, they silently got out of bed and followed Y/N. In the kitchen, Y/N stood alone, staring blankly at the colourful array of cereal boxes. She felt a pang of sadness as she thought about the mothers who would be showered with love and affection on this day. Jihyo and Jeongyeon quietly approached her, their presence bringing warmth to the room.

Jihyo - Baby, are you okay? *placing a comforting hand on her shoulder*

The youngest blinked away tears that threatened to spill over and responded.

Y/N - I... I just... I don't know how to celebrate Mother's Day, unnie. I've never had anyone to celebrate it with.

Jeongyeon's heart ached for Y/N. She had become like a second mother to the 10th member, and seeing her in pain stirred a fierce protectiveness within her.

Jeongyeon - You don't have to worry, kiddo. We're here for you. We can celebrate together!

A glimmer of hope flickered in Y/N's eyes as she looked at her fellow members.

Y/N - Really? You'd do that for me, mamas?

Jihyo smiled warmly and pulled Y/N into a hug.

Jihyo - Of course, sweetheart. We're your family now. We'll celebrate Mother's Day together.

With tears of gratitude welling in her eyes, Y/N clung tightly to Jihyo and Jeongyeon. She finally felt the embrace she had longed for all her life, a sense of belonging, an unwavering love.

The day unfolded with tenderness and care. Jihyo and Jeongyeon took turns making breakfast, while Y/N helped set the table with flowers and handwritten cards. Each member of TWICE had written heartfelt messages to Y/N, expressing their love and appreciation. As they sat down to eat, Y/N couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the love surrounding her. She watched as Jihyo and Jeongyeon shared playful banter, their smiles reaching their eyes. Their maternal instinct shone through as they encouraged Y/N to indulge in her favourite dishes and laughed at her silly jokes.

After breakfast, Jihyo and Jeongyeon surprised Y/N with a special activity they had planned. They took her to a nearby park, where families had gathered to celebrate Mother's Day. Y/N was initially hesitant, fearing that her presence would intrude on the happiness of others. But Jihyo and Jeongyeon reassured her, reminding her that she deserved to experience the joy of this day too. As they strolled through the park, Y/N observed mothers and children sharing precious moments, such as laughing, playing, and simply enjoying each other's company. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy, but Jihyo and Jeongyeon's constant presence reminded her that she was not alone and she had her sisters that loved her wholeheartedly.

They settled down on a blanket under a cherry blossom tree, the delicate petals falling like confetti around them. Y/N felt a sense of peace as she watched Jihyo and Jeongyeon engage in a lighthearted conversation, their laughter harmonizing with the rustle of the leaves. After some time having fun and showering their maknae with all the affection she deserves, Jihyo and Jeongyeon turned, giving all their attention to their child, with a motherly smile after noticing the glow in Y/N's eyes while looking around, before speaking.

Jihyo - Hon, we want you to know that you're loved, treasured, and valued. You may not have experienced the love of a traditional family, but we're your family now. We'll be your mothers, your sisters, your best friends, anything you want us to be. Either way, we'll always be by your side.

With a gentle smile, Jeongyeon decided to say something too.

Jeongyeon - Just like Jihyo said, we'll be close to you, darling. Through the good times and the bad. You never have to feel alone again and whenever you need a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen to you, you have 9 sisters willing to hear and give you all the support you desire.

Tears welled up in Y/N's eyes, but this time they were tears of gratitude and joy. She finally understood that family wasn't solely defined by blood ties; it was a bond built on love, understanding, and unwavering support. As the sun began its descent, TWICE returned to their dormitory. The day had been filled with laughter, love, and healing.
