"Wow look at you!" Jared said as I stood in Emily's kitchen. I was waiting on Embry, Quil, and Jacob as they were going to the Cullens house for Bella's graduation party. It was technically Alice and Edwards' as well but. . . ya know.
Carlisle and I had missed the actual ceremony, not that Edward or Alice cared. Carlisle had already attended several graduation ceremonies, Emmett had taped this one anyways, and I would have countless chances in the future to see their ceremonies too.
But we had gotten home in time for the party.
"Yes, it's a nice dress, isn't it?" I asked, twirling slightly. I almost never wore red. Though it was a flattering colour on me, I didn't like the brightness of it- which was a lot coming from the girl whose favorite colour is yellow. But Alice had told me to wear it so I had.

"He wasn't talking about the dress." Paul said with a roll of his eyes, leaning on the counter in Emily's kitchen. "He was talking about your tan."
"Oh!" I said, beaming. It was true. I had spent quite a bit of time on the beaches in California when Carlisle and I weren't wrapped up in bed. We had a very hard time letting each other go and it had been a pain to return home. I couldn't wait for our honeymoon. We would stay there for months and months. . . maybe we wouldn't even come back.
But with my tan and black hair, I looked like a native Quileute.
I laughed lightly. "The California sun did some good for me, I admit."
"You look native." Embry said, stepping through the door and then looked at Jacob, "I didn't realize the party was so fancy."
I snorted, "Embry, I live with Alice Cullen. You don't get away with not wearing fancy clothes for any event."
"How was the honeymoon?" Quil asked politely.
I rolled my eyes. "It wasn't our actual honeymoon you know. But it was good, thanks for asking."
My phone buzzed.
:Where are you?
I smiled. It was Carlisle.
:La Push. I'll be there in a few minutes- promise.

A grin spread across my face and then I jumped ten feet in the air when I realized Seth was looking over my shoulder. "Seth!"
Sam snickered before kissing Emily. "Don't stay too long at the vampire house Jacob."
"We won't." Jake said.
"Come on." I said. "I brought the van."
I drove to the house, laughing quietly under my breath at the string of fairy lights that Alice had clearly used to mark a path almost two miles to the house around the trees, complete with bows.
