Chapter 11 ~ Lukas? Is that you?

"Lukas.. Join me." I looked around in the pitch black room. "Who are you!" I screamed frantically looking around for an exit. "Lukas. Join me or else."

"No.." I said covering my ears from the echo sound it made. "Lukas, Join me. Lukas, Join me. Lukas, JOIN ME." It repeated.

"Get out of my head. WHO ARE YOU." I asked. "Lukas if you don't join me, you and everyone you love will die."  "No. no. no. NO." I screamed and I fell into the black void.

Lukas woke up panting and sweating. "Hey dude, you alright?" Aiden asked him sitting at the edge of his bed. "Oh uhm- yeah just. A nightmare that's all." Lukas smiled and sat up.

"Alright, let me know if you need anything." He said walking down stairs. Lukas got dressed into his armor and made his way downstairs to see everyone sitting in a circle eating their potatoes ready to leave.

"About time blonde guy!" Ivor said sipping his coffee. "Why didn't you guys wake me up?" Lukas asked, Petra and Jessica started laughing so hard they fell over onto their backs.

"What's so funny?" He asked crossing his arms. "Look in a mirror dingus." Petra said, he went outside and looked at his reflection in the water to see they drew a mustache on his face.

He smirked and washed it off and then he saw an familiar face in the water. "Join me Lukas." It said and then he ran back inside. 'What the hell is that.' He thought.

"Alright is everyone ready to leave?" Jesse asked the group and everyone either said yeah or nodded. Lukas walked behind the group looking around at everything, taking it in before they got themselves into trouble.

Jessica noticed he was walking by himself and came back and walked next to him with her hands behind her back. "Hey." She said to him. "Hey Jess." Hs said looking out to the next biome they were coming across, which was a Snowy Taiga which wasn't normal for next to a Mangrove biome.

"Look Jess, I'm really sorry about everything." He said scratching the back of his head. "I forgive you, Don't be so hard on yourself." She said putting her hand on his shoulder.

She always does that when she's trying showing sympathy. "I- thank you Jess." He stuttered out. They were silent for a moment and he saw that Jessica was getting cold. He took off the top of his armor then his jacket and put it around her, then put the top of his armor back on.

A tint of red waved over her checks, "Why are you giving me this?" She asked. "You looked cold." He responded. "But what about you?" Jessica asked about to take the jacket off.

"Quit being a hand-wringer Jess, I'll be fine." He said smirking and put his hands on her shoulders so she would keep the jacket on. "Do you really think these maps are legit Jess?" Lukas wondered.

She stood closer to him for the warmth, "I really do hope so. I don't want this to be for nothing but if Ivor was on his way here? Then I would think it would be important." She said and she had a point. Lukas just had hope that it's not as dangerous as Ivor is describing it.

She then grabbed his arm and wrapped hers around it for more warmth and Lukas chuckled. "Do you think Ivor even knows what we're getting into?" He asks another question.

"I don't think so, I think he would've said something by now. Though he did say he was looking for Soren." They walked like that for a while until Jesse turned around and saw them.

He slowed down from talking with the others and came back to them. "What going on here..?" He asked walking next to Lukas. He went to speak until Jessica beat Lukas to it. "Just trying to stay warm." She said with a stern face.

"Mhm." He said bumping Lukas' shoulder and he broke the silence, "Is- there a problem?" Lukas asked. 'Don't get me wrong, Jesse is my best bud but sometimes he can scare me. Like right now.' Lukas thought.

"No, I'm just making sure nothing is going on back here..." Jesse said and Jessica's eyes widened, "Jesse!" She yelped. Lukas and Jesse laughed and both Lukas and Jessica's had a tint of pink flush over them.

"Woah." Aiden said looking over and edge. Jessica stood up straight and walked towards the cliff more as she wrapped the jacket tighter around her. They looked over and saw a village with people, not villagers.

"Well it says here on the map that this is the only way to get to where we need to go." Cassie said and pointing, going next to Petra who had been holding the map.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Aiden said walking down the hill and they all followed behind him.

When they went down there, they saw a lot of people who looked not wealthy but not poor. To be honest, Lukas and Aiden thought they knew some of the people there but they thought they were just hallucinating.

Everyone was watching them as they walked through the village, "Well- this is awkward." Aiden said.

"Yeah, no kidding." Jesse added.

"These people look exhausted." Jessica silently whispered to the group. They all nodded until an older woman in about her 40's caught Lukas' eye who had brunette hair and blue eyes.

"...-can you please come inside and help me with supper?" The woman said to a girl who was working on a potion of some sort.

She looked about the same age as Radar, she looked VERY familiar to Lukas. The girl went inside and the older woman locked eyes with Lukas and she looked shocked.

She dropped her bucket on the ground and Lukas stopped. The group kept walking but quickly realizing that he was behind. She walked up to him and asked, "Excuse me young man, if you don't mind, may I look at the back of your left ear?"

The others looked at each-other confused, "What the hell is going on-" Aiden started then Cassie elbowed him in the side of his stomach. "Ow!" He yelped.

Lukas nodded to the lady and allowed her to look at his ear. She moved the hair covering his ear and look behind it, she gasped.

"Lukas..? Is that you?"
