They walked through the portal to end up at the beginning of the portal hallway. All Lukas could think about when they were in here was all the great' adventures they had.
The group kept walking as they approached Cassie' world portal to their left, He thought about the letter that she had sent to Jessica. Then suddenly his eyes turned snow white and he ran through the portal.
He felt a force take him through. He ran through the portal as he felt everyone's eyes staring at him. "LUKAS,WHAT ARE YO-" Jessica screamed until he heard nothing more, he was fully through the portal.
He fell to the ground by the grave yard, he got up quickly and started racing towards the mansion with his bow and arrow in hand. It was night, there were quite a bit of zombies, but not as many as last time since there weren't any spawners around anymore.
Behind him, he heard Jesse, Radar, and Aiden running. He didn't stop running. He knew he should stop running but he tried to stop running but he couldn't.
"Lukas! Please stop!" He heard Jessica yell from far behind him. He didn't, he kept going until he finally got to the door. He tried to open it but he realized it was an Iron door. He quickly checked my inventory to see if he had anything.
'A lever? When did I have a lever' He thought. He was able to think but he wasn't able to control his body. He placed it on the door and barged in. He ran around the main floor of the house. When he found nothing, he started to run upstairs as Jessica, Radar, and Aiden were running in through the door.
He ran upstairs and open the door to see Cassie sitting on the couch. Her book and mug in hand, with Winslow sitting on her lap.
She looked at him with wide eyes, "Lukas?" She questioned. He ran up to her and place his sword under her chin. "How did you escape." He said pressing a little harder for each second she didn't answer him.
Jessica walked into the room horrified, she ran over to him and took his sword away from her neck. "I had an extra ended pearl left over, I lied. I knew I had lost and thought it would be a better idea me to wait for you to leave. I decided to stay here to not cause any more trouble than I already have" Cassie rambled.
"If you don't want to start trouble, then why you send Jessica a letter? Huh? Answer me!" He screamed in her face, leaving her with a shocked look. "Lukas! Stop!" Jessica tried to dissuade him, "please."
He looked in her eyes and his eyes suddenly turned from snow white back to sky blue. He sat down across from Cassie, looking at Radar and Aiden standing in the doorway, waiting for her to answer his question
"Lukas! What has gotten into you!" Jessica yelled, his invective obviously hurt Jessica more than it did Cassie. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for any of this! I don't know what letter your talking about!" Cassie countered.
Jessica looked up in confusion, "What do you mean you didn't send us a letter?" "I mean I didn't send you a letter." Cassie said repeating what she said before with an annoyed face. Jessica pulled out the letter she had received and gave it to her.
Radar walked over to Lukas while Jessica was talking to Cassie "You've always taught me how to deal with difficult people, Lukas! Like in the Ice Palace? You got this." Radar said quietly placing his hand on Lukas' shoulder, kneeling down on his knee.
Lukas looked up at him. 'Jess is right, what HAS gotten into me? Radar looks up to me like a role model and I just unleashed a monster. He's right. I just felt like something was controlling me, like when I was under PAMA's control but I still had thought?' Lukas thought.
He took a deep breath and lean back into the sofa and put his head back.
"So who sent the letter?" Jessica asked. Everyone looked at each-other in confusion until Aiden spoke up, "Well, I- I haven't been completely honest about sending my letter."
Lukas looked at him in confusion, "What do you mean?" He asked staying calm. "I did write the letter to you guys and I really do mean it! But, I never actually sent the letter. One night it was on my desk, then next morning it was gone." He said walking over to the area they were all sitting.
"I hadn't thought anything of it until you guys showed up this morning at Sky City!" He added. Lukas had both his elbows on his knees with his legs open and hands put together as his head was hung down low.
"Do you think this has something to do with the maps?" He wondered. Jessica pulled out the maps and asked, "Cassie, do these maps mean anything to you?" She looked at the closely.
"I actually got one of these maps in the mail yesterday!" She got up and went over to her desk in the corner of the room. She grabbed the map and set it down on the coffee table around where they stood.
Jessica placed the maps down to connect. "Woah." She gasped. They all matched, but there is a missing one. "Who could have the other piece? Nobody else sent us a letter." Radar said looking closely at the map.
