He looked back at her with a smile to assure
everything was okay. She decided now was not the time to worry about that and it was time to get to the point.
"Okay Isa and Milo, have you two been getting along well?" Jessica questioned. They both look at each-other and Milo nods, "Well Jesse, Milo and I knew when you left that we would have to get along. We started talking and we realized that we had a lot in common. And well, now we are- dating." Isa said nervously from everything that was happening so sudden.
Jessica and Lukas gave them a wide eyed look, "Guys that's awesome! I'm glad you two finally came around." Jessica expressed excitedly. Isa smiled, "So enough with all of this nonsense, what brings you guys into town?"
Radar grabbed the map and the letter out of his inventory and handed the letter to Isa, "Do you know anything about Aiden sending this letter to me or is this the first you've heard about it?" Jessica asked folding her arms.
"This is the first i've seen this letter. He has really brightened up here, he's making- trying to make friends and he gets along with everyone" She said handing it back to Radar.
"Do you think you could tell us where he is? We have a way he can help us." Jessica told her, referring to the note.
She nodded and told Milo she would be back soon. They followed her around the town and they thought it was just beautiful. Considering nobody knew how to build when they left, "This place is beautiful, the architecture is so exquisite." Lukas said, as if he were reading the others minds.
"It definitely is, they've been here such a short time and it's already incredible." Jessica said being stopped when the founder went to her left to knock on a door.
The door swings open, and Aiden walks out looking at all of us. "Oh my goodness, Lukas buddy how have you been!" He said going in to hug Lukas.
Lukas hugged him back with an unsure face, Jessica knew he was nervous to see him. She knew from when we first left. She wasn't at first but she feels like he's acting a little too nice.
"Hi Aiden, it's nice to see you" Jessica said breaking up their hug. "I feel like I haven't seen you guys if forever! What brings you guys into to town?" He said curiously.
He watched me pull out the letter he had sent us. "We have a way you can help us, do you mind if we come in?" Jessica questioned. He opened his door wider and gestured for them to come into his home. They followed him to his dinning room and sat down.
"Do you guys want anything to drink?" He asked before he say down. Lukas looked at Jessica and asked, "Do you have coffee by any chance?" Aiden nodded. Jessica also asked for a cup, not knowing Lukas asked him to make a pot so she could have some.
"Cream?" He asked. "No thank you." Lukas and Jessica said in unison. "Sugar?" He asked. "Yes please" They again, said in unison while giving each-other that confused look. (IYKYK)
He sat down after he had given them their coffee, "Alright so what do you need me for?" He asked looking at Jessica, kinda worried. She asked Radar to hand him the map. "Know anything about this map?" Jessica interrogated.
Isa got up and looked over Aiden' shoulder at the map. "Hold on, i'll be right back." She walked out of the door, walking faster as she got out the door.
They ignored her and looked at Aiden once more.
"I'm sorry guys but i'm not sure where this is, that's not our world for sure. I don't know what kinda if biome that pink one is." He said pointing at the cherry blossom biome.
Lukas took a sip of his coffee and set down his cup, "Are you sure it's not? Like 100% sure?" "Yes i'm sure. Where did you guys get this anyway?" Aiden asked.
"Hi, you don't know me but uhm- my name is Radar." Jessica cut him off for a second, "He's my Co-Hero in Residence" "..Yes, when I was opening mail that was sent for Jessica, I found your letter and it looked like the map and the letter were together" Radar continued.
Just then, Isa burst through the door and walked over to the table. She unrolled piece of paper and placed it down next to the map. It was a perfect fit.
"Isa, where did you get this?" Jessica said, standing up to look at the map from above. "I got a map too. When I saw the one you gave to Aiden, I immediately recognized it."
"Isa do you mind if we take this back with us to figure out what's going on?" Jessica wondered. She nodded, "You guys need to figure this out! This is definitely not something that happens on a daily basis." She said as she walked over and literally dragged Lukas and Radar out of their seats.
Lukas forgot how strong she was. Jessica looked over at Aiden and he seems upset in a way that we were leaving after we had just arrived. "Hey Aiden, do you want to come with us?" Jessica asked putting her arm out for him to stand up. Aiden and Lukas both gave her shocked looks.
"Y-you want me to go with you?" He stumbles. She nodded as he grabs her hand to stand up. "This is a great idea! Here let's go!" Isa said, pushing then all out the door.
Jessica stumbled into Lukas from the force and look up as he grabbed her arms so she didn't fall. "Easy. Easy, I got you. Are you ok?" He asked her and she stood up continuing to look at him in the eyes and nodded. He smiled and she let go of him and they started to walk next to each other behind everyone.
He leaned closer to talk to her, "So what made you decide to invite him? I'm honestly surprised."
"Why do you have a problem with it?"
"No, not at all! Jess, you don't have to ask me to do things. You're the leader here and we're all counting on you to make the best decision. " She could see him out of the corner of her eye.
"And I know you'll make the right one." He added putting his hand around her shoulder.
She was going to pull away from him but she stayed there and didn't say anything.
They approached towards the portal to get back to the hallway and they broke apart. "Aiden, I trust you will behave yourself with Jessica?" Isa asked Aiden as they walked down the stairs the town folk built to the portal.
"I promise Mrs Founder, I won't let you down." Aiden said proudly. Isa gave the group all hugs and left the 4 of them along to walk through the portal.
