When I got to the room I Devin was sitting on the bed watching TV. When he saw me he immediately got up, he had the biggest smile on his face; He took the bags I was holing and sat them down by the couch and came over to hug me. He gripped me tightly I could feel his heart beat again, he said,
"I like your hair baby; it looks beautiful, it kind of looks like Carlie's."
I said,
"I know baby, when I seen it in the mirror at the solon I thought of Carlie right away, I never told her good bye, I'm such a terrible friend."
He looked at me and said,
"You can always call her."
I asked,
"Is that a good idea?"
He said,
"I don't see why not, I don't see why she would tell the cops on you."
I nodded and said,
"I think I'm going to call her now, if that's okay?"
He said,
"Of course it is, why wouldn't it be babe?"
I said,
"Okay."
I pulled out my phone and dialed her number; I didn't really know how to use this phone so i called Devin over and asked,
"Can you help me with this babe? I've never had an iPhone before."
He nodded and grabbed my phone, he sat there trying to do it for a few minutes, and suddenly he had a weird look on his face and asked in frustration,
"Who the fuck is Nick?
I asked,
"Who?"
He said,
"Don't play stupid with me, whose Nick?!"
I grabbed the phone and looked; it was the guy from the mall. Devin said,
"Are you seriously cheating on me after you broke up with me for the same thing?"
I replied by yelling,
"CHEATING? HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK I WOULD CHEAT ON YOU!?"
He yelled back,
"WELL WHAT FUCK ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO THINK?"
I screamed back,
"NOTHING YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TRUST ME! I'M NOT YOU!"
I had enough, I grabbed the car keys and left. I was crying, how could he even think I would cheat on him, why would he think I would cheat on him? I was speeding up now; I didn't know where I was going. I was just driving, suddenly my phone went off, I answered it,
"Hello..."
It was Devin. He asked in a frustrated voice,
"Where are you?!"
I said in a frustrated and sobbing voice,
"None of your business, I'm done, how could you really think I would cheat on you?!"
He replied in a loud voice,
"I MEAN WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO THINK NICHOLE!? YOU GO OFF TO SOME MALL SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU DON'T KNOW ANYONE AND YOU COME BACK WITH SOME GUYS PHONE NUMBER?!"
I shouted back,
"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TRUST ME AND NOT THINK THOSE THINGS; I'VE ALWAYS, ALWAYS BEEN LOYAL TO......"
The car crashed.... I could hear Devin's voice over the phone, I wasn't sure where it was though; I couldn't move so I wasn't able to grab for it.
Sorry it's short..... It's supposed to be a cliffhanger. Lol
