Seb wasn't amused by his new team-mate, he was quiet, dismissive and outright rude. He was the complete opposite to Sebs outgoing and jokey nature, Kimi wouldn't even crack a smile at Sebs best attempts to make him laugh. The tension came to a head when Kimi spun out on the first lap of monza, Ferraris most important race, and took Seb with him. Seb berated Kimi for hours but Kimi just sat stone still, showing absolutely no remorse or care. Sebastian loved Ferrari, but Kimi only loved the thrill of racing, this is what solidified their position as enemies, that was until later in the year... Kimi had always had a crush on Seb, but simply felt no need to act on it, he was happy alone in his quiet world until it was no longer quiet. Kimi had women screaming and grabbing him anytime he walked through the paddock and he hated nothing more. Kimi would watch Sebastian walk through the paddock, getting the exact same treatment and thats when the idea popped into his head. 'Don't the girls bother you?' Kimi asks, seated across from Seb in Ferraris cafeteria. 'No... I mean there's nothing that can be done about them' Seb sighs. 'We can get rid of them, I have an idea' Kimi says quietly suddenly becoming embarrassed about the situation. 'Go on', Seb looks up from his plate giving full attention to Kimi. 'We date, or we uh pretend to..' Kimi stutters. Seb says nothing, keeping a blank expression. 'Y-you know we just have to hold hands in the paddock a couple times and...' Kimi trails off, he realises he's made a mistake and leans back, going back to his shut off mode. 'Okay' Seb shrugs seeming unbothered about the whole thing. Kimi lets out a small smile.
//// months go by of Kimi and Seb exchanging small romantic gestures around the paddock, holding hands, gifting each other flowers and even kissing a few times when they were sure the cameras could see. Kimi's feelings only grew but as the season ended, he didn't feel any closer to Seb. Sure the women had stopped bothering them, but Kimi wanted more, at least some recognition of his feelings. He walked solemnly over to sebs driver room, prepared to confess. But he opened the door and was met with disappointment. Seb is kissing a very sexy young 18 year old women who is brunette with blonde streaks and blue eyes and odd shaped pinky fingers. 'We won't be needing to pretend anymore' Seb smirks at Kimi ushering him back out of the room. Kimi stares at the door, the love he felt quickly turning to hate and rejection. Ferrari had the worst season yet, Kimi seemed to take any opportunity to provoke Seb, causing a record amount of crashes between team mates. Sky sports interview Kimi after a big crash asking him what he thinks of seb, he replies 'he is idiot' 💔
