Finally the three horses reached the gates of Ilirea. Allara tilted her head up to stare at the massive gates in front of them. The whole city was surrounded by what looked like a very thick wall of stones and metal, with several guards patrolling over them.

"Let me do the talking" Angela said asa she and Solembum took a step forward.

"Who goes there?!" a man wearing full body armour shouted from up in the walls.

"I am Angela, the queen will know me" the witch said.

"We know who you are witch, but we do not know your companions" the guard snapped at the older woman.

"These are Vanir of Ellesméra and Allara" the woman said, her hand waving at the two people behind her "Now let us in would ya? The queen is expecting us already"

The man backed away from the edge of the wall and not long after the travellers heard the gates creaking as they were being open enough for the three horses to slip their way inside.

"Welcome Allara, to Ilirea" Angela told her with a flourish of her hands.

The city came into view, it was an expansive city, sprawling across the mountainside. Allara could visually see the numerous streets, alleys, and squares, with buildings ranging from towering citadels to smaller dwellings that massed around the city.

The layout was organized, with main thoroughfares leading to central locations like the palace.

Several of the structures and a even some sides of the palace had been thrown down and people were trying to build them back up. There were fewer people than buildings but they were still scurrying around like aunts.

As the three of them continued to trot on, the people begun to gather around the streets, staring at the new arrivals incuriosity.

"It's a rather nice city" Allara said.

The Seven Kingdoms had a much larger cities in Westeros, like Old Town (despite it being the home of the Hightowers), and castles more impressive, like Dragonstone, which is built into the rocks, capitalizing on some of those formations created by mother nature, making it the perfect location for dragons and royalty alike. Of course she could mention a few several others such as Quarth but it would do no good to compare them.

"Lady Angela" a fully decorated guard stepped forward towards them making Allara and Vanir sit straight up on the dragons "The queen has asked me to escort you to the palace. She says you have urgent news for her and..."

"Angela!" a young teenage girl with dark coal-like hair and bright purple eyes (that reminded Allara of the Targaryens) came out from the crowds, her arms crossed behind her back until Angela got off her horse, the she rushed forward to embrace the older woman. From in the woman's arms, the kid turned to the guard still standing in front of them "Alright that's enough, I can take them to the queen myself"

The guard bowed his head and left.

"Welcome to Ilirea" the girl turned to Allara and Vanir as they both also got off their horses "I am Elva Farseer"

"I'm Allara Stark" our pale haired protagonist said, reaching her hand out for the girl to shake "It's a pleasure to meet you Elva"

"I am Vanir" the elf introduced himself shortly, not doing anything more than that.

Allara nudged his side making him stare at her until he finally understood why and he too reached his hand out, giving the young girl a stiff handshake.

"You're the Rider ain't you?" Elva asked the dark haired elf "I can feel your dragon but I cannot see it"

"He will join us later on. If you could direct us to the queen first" Allara told the girl,.

"Of course" the purple eyed girl said.

Soon they were walking in the palace through the front gates behind the girl. Allara observed the palace building which was adorned with opulent decorations, large halls, and imposing architecture, reflecting the queen's wealth and authority.

They followed the girl to the throne room.

Thorn and Murtagh had been flying straight for the past few days while our group had been travelling and the red dragon finally saw the edge of the island they had been looking for appear in the horizon.

"Murtagh" the dragon woke his Rider up from the light sleep the man was in.

"Thank you Thorn" the man patted the dragon's side as they hovered above the old Rider island.

Eragon looked up after he and Saphira rushed outside when Cuaroc had told them a bright red dragon was flying above the island. He recognised his brother under his metal helmet and he told the metal headed guardian to leave them as the red dragon landed.

"Murtagh" Eragon walked up to his brother while the two dragons greeted each other.

He embraced his older brother, the two men hesitating before he did so.

"I am here Eragon, I received your message"

"There is a lot we have to tell you about" Eragon led his brother into the city.

"My queen, the Rider and Angela have arrived" a guard told the queen.

"Good. I want us to talk alone. You are dismissed" the queen said "And let them inside when you come out"

The doors to the throne room opened and in walked Elva followed by a small group of three people. One was the familiar witch Angela and the other Nasuada recognised was an elf she had caught sometime when Arya visited.

The third person she did not recognise. It was a young woman with slightly tanned skin and a tall frame covered in weird riding clothes. Her hair was the most captivating thing of her. The woman's locks were white like an older woman's hairs, and her features were exotic, with dark and very slightly purple eyes like the color of Elva's.

"Angela, welcome once more, to Ilirea" the dark skinned woman sat on the throne said.

"Hello queen Nasuada" the witch said.

"I suppose this is the dragon Rider queen Arya mentioned, Vanir?" Nasuada asked.

"Indeed I am your highness" the dark haired elf told the queen.

"And who is this?" Nasuada asked as her gaze directed to Allara.

"This is Allara Stark my queen, she has been with the elves in Ellesméra all this time" Angela said.

"And how did you come to be there?" the queen turned her questions to Allara.

"Well..." the woman begun after receiving confirmation from Vanir that she could "..I'll begin from how I got here, your highness"

I'm going to skip over the part were Allara explains the whole thing since the storm that took her to Vroengard, leaving out that it had been Vroengard and instead making it Du Weldenvarden so as to keep out the whole 'secretive island' thing Eragon tried, that, a secret.
