The echo of heels sounded against the marble floors of Winterfell as the lady of the place paced around the halls looking for her children.

"Allara! Jonnel!" Aurora Belgrave shouted "Are you almost done?!"

"Coming mother!" three sets of footsteps made their way to the matriarch of the house.

"Hello my darling. You look as beautiful as ever" the man that came in before the other two people right behind him wrapped his arms around her waist to pull her into him and plant a tender kiss on top of her head.

"Sweet talking to me now won't save you" she tried to say angrily only to fail when her son an daughter joined their parents and tackled their mother in a hug "This isn't fair. You cannot gang up on me"

"But we just did mother dearest" the 23 year olds told her with smirks dancing on their faces.

"All right, all right" Aurora shook them off "But the next time I see another mess like the one today, and the day before, and the day before that, I will do something about it" her family gulped as her threats didn't usually hold empty words "Now where is Carter?"

"Right here mother" the formal 14 year old told her as he walked into the room where the rest of the Stark.

The boy had been adopted after he had tried to sneak in to steal a bit of bread. Apparently there was a slave trader that had been aprehended and his slaves freed, but the little boy had nowhere and no one to go to. Having been an orphan herself, Aurora immediately gotten attached to the young boy and adopted him on the spot.

Now Carter (a very modern name I know) was enjoying his life as a pampered son and brother to the Starks.

"Mother, why must Allara leave us?" the boy asked his mother.

Aurora smiled down at him. The boy was as sharp as knives and his wit quick as a snake, and the woman was happy everyone seemed to like the boy so much.

Her son had already had a son of his own with the queen Alyssa Targaryen and named him as his mother requested, Barthogan Stark. That way the bloodlines would continue as they would have if the past had been repeated.

"It is her wish Carter" the woman spoke "There is not much I can do to stop her and all we can do is tell her goodbye and give her our well wishes"

Aurora did not like it when her daughter announced she wanted to leave her home to travel with Embar and Drogos at her side.

She and her husband had taught their daughter, and sons, the skill with the sword, daggers and bow and arrows so she was confident the younger woman would survive easily. But as a mother she could not help but feel a bit scared for her.

"Mother?" she shook her head to come out of her thoughts when her three children stared up at her.

"It is fine. Is it time already?" she asked sadly.

"Yes Momma" Allara said. The girl was wearing her own dragon riding armour that they all had on.

"Then it is time" Cregan.

Allara smiled through tears as all her family gathered at Winterfell's courtyard. The queen was even there with her husband. All of the princes and princess were there. The people of Winterfell watched as the reunion of Targaryens, Velaryons, Belgraves and Starks said goodbye to their beloved lady of the North.

"And...and don't forget to eat three meals a day and...and..." her aunt Rhaena said through her sobs.

"I know auntie Rhae" Allara tried to soothe the older woman and handed her back to her husband prince Lucerys so the man could calm her down.

Most of the people there were in tears at seeing her go, but others smiled in relief, as if they felt glad that the lady was finally getting to do what she had wanted to do for so long.

Drogos waited as his father, the now largest dragon in the Seven Kingdoms, bowed his head down to touch it upon the top of his son's head. Drogos was about the size Dreamfyre had been during the era of Aegon the Usurper, Embar not that much further in difference of size. Their mother, the Red Queen, also nudged as if to say her goodbyes to them.

"Stop pushing me" his sister growled at him when he got closer to their mother.

"You stop pushing" Drogos growled back.

Now, Allara had a secret she had not even told her own mother, only her brother. Ever since she had been a small child she had inherited certain, traits.

From her mother she apparently got a substantial amount of magical healing, apart from that she heard actual formed words where the dragons growled or screeched.

She had kept it mostly to herself as she did not want to be seen as a lunatic, and that was why she smiled when she heard her two friends having a banter over who got their mother's love first.

"Allara" her mother called for her "Do be careful. And if you can, try and come visit"

"I love you mother" the two embraced.

"And we you my little one" the three men of the family came up from behind them for a family hug.

"Mother will once more be outnumbered in the house" Cregan chuckled and then groanned when Aurora kicked his shin while still keeping her arms over her children's shoulders.

When they had all finally settled down, Allara climbed up Drogos' side onto the usual juncture of the neck, where she always took when they flew together, with her numerous bags piling behind her. At their side, Embar shook herself from the snow flakes that were now beginning to fall as she readied her wings to lift into the air with her brother.

"Goodbye!" Allara waved her hand at her family.

Her silver hair was blown back when the black and scarlet dragon launched into the sky quickly followed by his sister.

Everyone on the ground looked up as all the dragons present there flew up as well to meet the three young ones that were leaving their home.

"We'll miss you!" "Don't forget us!" "Remember us!"

Allara only let the tears fall down her cheeks once she could no longer clearly distinguish her family's forms from up in the sky.

"Worry not Allara. we will come back once again" Embar told her through a soft screech as the she dragon flew steadily by her and Drogos.

"I know Embar, I know" the woman patted the dragon's snout as she got closer.

"Don't get so close" Drogos hissed at his sister, making Allara laugh.

With the two of them she would at least not be alone.
