Chpater 9

BEEP BEEP BEEP BE.... "Y/N TURN OFF YOUR ALARM" I suddenly hear Leah yell while barging into my room. I turn off the alarm and look around. "Good morning" I chirp out "ya good morning y/n get up for breakfast"
I nod and get into the arsenal gear. After breakfast it's time to head to meadow park I decide to post an instagram story while heading there" and than shut my phone off again.

When we arrive and meadow park we see fans all ready there waiting for Leah, she signs some autographs while I walk to the dressing room as no one really knows me enough yet. I see some girls there already playing some tunes mostly Abba. When everyone arrives we do a quick pitch walk and go back in to change to match gear. I am on the subs bench but Jonas said I might get some minutes if the match is going our way, with Kim and lia injured we are running short on midfielders so Leah went into midfield.

We do a warm up and the team is

Maanum, Leah , viv
Mead , blackstenius , foord

The subs go onto the beach while the team goes out onto the pitch.
The team does really well with Beth and Caitlin scoring in the first half. The subs were told to stay on the pitch to warm up. Jonas comes out and call me in "y/n get ready your going on" I am a bit shocked I didn't expect it I nod and get myself ready. I come on for maanum. It was different at first , we did quick passing and it became more physical. After 5 mins I got forgot about everything around me and started playing, the ball was at my feet and I was running down the line I put a cross into the box which got met with vivs head and straight into the goal. She runs over to me with everyone else "great ball kid" everyone was saying patting me on the head. I just replied "good goal". Just a few minutes later I got the ball from Leah I gave it to Beth and she passed it back inside to me taking a shot which unexpectedly curled right into the top left corner.

I am in full shock I didn't know I could do that. Everyone runs over and screams "what a goal kid" "screamer" " where did you get that from" i hear some of the girls say. The rest of the match got aggressive with Katie and lotte getting a yellow. Gio came on wienrother and pelova game on for beth. The matches finished 4-0 to us . Beth got woman of the match and I was asked to do a interview as it was my debut. "So y/n well done today incredible debut, how are you feeling?" "Ya thank you mmh it's great I didn't think I would get an opportunity so quickly after coming to arsenal and it feels nice to help the team" "you scored and assisted today, what was going through your head when taking that incredible shot?" "Honestly nothing really i knew where the goal was and I just took a chance" "Well hopefully we see more of that , well done again and thank you for coming to do interview" "ya thank you" I reply and leave while taking a deep breath that was nerve racking.

I walk back into the dressing room stopping once or twice for the people that called my name for a picture. It felt weird people knowing your name. When I walked into the dressing room I was met with a lively atmosphere with songs playing and people cheered when I walked in. I got told I got to keep my shirt as memory's which I was happy about.

I sit down in the changing room and look at my phone I first notice the messages from my friends tell me well done I reply and have a short conversation of how it's going for them, I found out my old local team is losing and drawing some games which I felt bad for. Than I saw my step dad texted me congratulating me. My dad said he will come back up to London and he will help me start getting a car licence as I'm 17. Which I was great full for.

I had a look on instagram and posted an appreciation post on my story and I saw the girls mentioning me in their own story's which I reposted with a heart emoji.I felt grateful for the group of girls I was with.

The most of the girls decided to go to Leah's for a movie night well it was only 7pm, we arrived I went up for a shower and came back in comfy clothes I was about to sit down when I got a call from an unknown number. "Hello who is this?" I asked.
"Hi is this y/n? I'm ...."
