Chapter 5 - Where It All Began Part 2

Start from the beginning

Yeah, about that if we kept going after what happened, we were about to be judged in the MCI's court. Not that I wanted to say that, but I didn't have a choice. I sent this message to prevent that.

"Yes, it is true that I sent you the explanation before sending you the one you received because I thought you were new to this college. But, I accidentally sent it to someone else, and I bet you would have understood that it was not what I meant. But whatever, screw that sh*t, I do not care if people think less of me; everyone makes mistakes. I also know you made that game just to make me jealous, I know you still like me"

"Why did everyone keep saying that" he responded

"Honestly, I think it's worked cause I am madly in love with you, I said it... I love you Brayden" I can't believe I freaking said it

He was surprised about me confessing my love for him he didn't say a word. He was completely frozen.

"I also signed your game, I want to play with you so we can be together for real this time" I added

"You did what? No... fuck no"

Thanks God he finally said something but he was mad, it was a bad sign.

"What? What I did I do wrong this time?" I asked cause I started to get confused like boy, I just confessed my feelings for you, it's not easy, you know.

"So it was you? Why did you signed without reading all the damn thing?... Not you to...God no, I know you are smarter than that, unless you let yourself blind by that fucking game too" he stated

"No, I let myself blind because I fucking love you, I can't still pretended that I'm not, I've been playing games my whole 4 years in college so it's not a big deal if we don't play, you created it, right?" I sighed while I put my hands around his neck

He nodded

"So you can end it"

He finished admiring me and decided to give me a kiss. As his lovely lips were about to meet mine, I closed my eyes, but he swerved and slipped something into my handbag that I was unaware of.

I opened my eyes and asked, "Why is everything gotta be complicated between us?"

"It doesn't work that way, Darcy. I wish it was... I may have created the game, but there is someone else above who is in control. You should have read before you signed, " he replied

"But..."

He cut me up and said, "I know... I mean, you got the assignment, but you are still far from understanding it. "

"You were right all along. Between us, it's complicated, so bye Darcy, " he added

After hearing that, if you stabbed me, you wouldn't find a drop of blood. So I collapsed on the grass outside, and tears started to flow down my eyes.

Brayden--)

I was seating exactly the same spot as her, only the difference was there was a wall between us. I can't lie. I felt the same way it wasn't easy for me, but rules are rules. I gotta respect them.

Darcy--)

A few moments later, I opened my purse to fix up my makeup, and something fell from it. I took a look at it, it was a pink envelope, I wiped away my tears then opened it and then I heard a voice out of nowhere.

The voice on the envelope "Hello Darcy Amilton, we are glad to have you at A+. For more information, we will send someone to pick you up so you can visit the platform. As I wrap up, I wish you luck and may the game commence."

As I glanced at the top of the paper, I noticed a F gradually forming.

"F," I muttered.

Which I never got in my entire life while being in school. My usual grades are mostly A+, A- it's rarely a B if that happened. I got a B+. i will never sleep trying to find out why and fix it. Never a B-. That's why they call me the smartest girl in MCI.
