This was great. It has been almost three years since you and Darry had been dating. You were sure he was going to propose soon. That afternoon, you had found out you were pregnant. Of course it was Darrys, you were no cheat. You had always loved kids and wanted your own. Your dream was finally coming true with the man you love.

Darry had just come home. "Hey AJ", he said kissing your cheek. "Hi Dar", you smiled back. "Whats up?", he asked. "Dar i gotta tell you something", i told him. "Im pregnant Dar! I mean, i know its kinda a weird time since we are getting married soon...", i rambled on before he stopped me. "Wait what!", he asked. "Well i just assumed", i said. "AJ. I am not proposing any time soon. I dont have the money. I dont have money for a baby. Im not ready", he said. With that, i ran from the house with none of my belongings.

Nine months later, i had given birth to my son Austin Samuel Curtis. I was staying with the only person who has ever supported me, my dad. He wasnt to happy about me being pregnant or that Darry wasnt supporting me, but he liked the idea of a granddaughter or grandson. Austin looked just like his dad in everyway. I hated the idea of being a single parent, but thats life.

A year later when Austin turned one, a knock came to the door. We were in the middle of celebrating my sons birthday so i had no idea who it could be. I opened the door to see my ex boyfriend; and the father of my child. "How did you find me?", i asked. "Dallas told me", he replied. Uhhh. Last time i tell him anything. Dallas only knows i moved. None of the gang knows about the baby except Darry. "What do you want?", i asked harshly. "I want to be apart of the babys life", he said. "How do you know i still have the baby? I could have gotten an abortion", i said. "Momma?", Austins little voice rang out. "Abortion huh?", Darry smirked a little.

"I thought you didnt have the money", i spat. "I didnt. But i do now. I want to support you and my kid. At least let me see him or her", he begged. I opened the door slightly. "Its nice of you to come on his birthday", i mumbled. "Its a he? I have a son" he breathed. Austin ran into the room, wobbling on his tiny legs. "Momma?", he asked. I picked him up and held him close. I turned to Darry. "Hes looks like a mini me", he said in amazement. "Yeah i know", i said. "Whats his name?", he asked. "This is Austin Samuel Curtis, your son", i said. "I cant wait to be a family ".
