Ruby started laughing.

Emma had enough of her bullshit she say" You know what Chloe, I'm going to stop the so you can go back because I believe that's what you want, in it?"

Then she stops the car.

"Wait...is that the Georgia Aquarium?"
Asked Ruby

"Did you say Georgia Aquarium? Let's go in,"
Suggested Chloe

Sincerely, I had a better time going in and having fun than I did with Serge. He eventually made up for it, and up until that one occasion, we were content once more.

One month before college reopens while I was at a party with Emma on a trip to California I text him" Serge I went to say goodbye to you in your house and you weren't there, Is everything okay babe?"

Emma" He still hasn't answered you?"

"No, let's just give him some time. Maybe he has his reason,"

30 minutes later
He finally texts back, "Sorry, I want to focus a hundred percent on the competition coming, so don't worry, I'll call you back,"

"You see he has his reason,"
I stated.

"But that doesn't give him the reason to treat you that way, just saying,"

We started to dance, sing, and drink. But Chloe is still not here with us. Then I ask, " Hey, where is Chloe, I thought she was supposed to be here a while ago,"

All of a sudden, Emma's phone started to ring.

"It's Chloe,"

She went into the corner to get the call, and she returned quickly. I started wondering what was going on because of the face she made.

"Something happened to Chloe,"
She shouted

I was too stunned to speak.

She continued, " Now she's okay, she's with her mom, we gotta go and find her quickly,"

Chloe has experienced trauma from what happened to her, or rather, what almost happened to her. Not even my deadliest enemy would want that.
We were under a tent at the back of her parent's vacation house.

"Tell me, what are we doing here again?"
Asked Emma

"Do you mean outside in a tent while her parents are arguing inside the house?"
I state

"They always are, I'm tired of them. They need to divorce already?
Declared Chloe

"Don't say that,"
Says Emma

"Anyway, I'm bored. Let's do something, fun girls,"

"Like what?"
Asked Emma

Chloe looks at us and smiles. " Like a game or something that can make me forget all the bad things that happened to me,"
Her face quickly changed after saying that.

"Almost happened,"
Trying to reassure her

"Okay, whatever,"

"Do you have the kind of games in mind?"
Asked Emma

"Let's see, yes, 24 hours,"
She shouted.

We were confused for a few seconds to make us say at the same time, " What?"

"24 hours to do what exactly?"
Asked Emma

"One of you girls going to seduce the neighbor's son, kiss him do whatever you can to make him fall for you and then dump him, you have 24 hours,"

Emma" That's playing with people's feelings. It's a risky game."

"Never said it was safe. Do you have something more fun to do during the rest of our time here?"

Emma shakes her head no.

"I'm down," I said without hesitation

"Darcy, what are you doing?"
Whined Emma

"Nothing, just having fun like everyone else,"
I shouted

"Under one condition no ugly guys only hot ones,"

"Bet," says Chloe

Emma "You know what? Have fun. You two leave me out of it,"

"Come on," insisted Chloe

"I'm serious. It's going to be better to watch anyway,"
Soothed Emma.
