To my relief, we are finally on the drive home.

I slept almost the entire plane ride, so I feel much more awake compared to before. Once off the plane, James said we were free to leave in whatever ever direction we wanted.

When Blake opted to walk out with us instead of by himself, I smiled, knowing that our texting on the plane must've put him in a slightly better mood.

After waving goodbye, Blake soon peeled away on his motorcycle and I found myself wishing he didn't have to leave. I know I've gone from hating his guts to wishing I could spend more time with him within a few days, but I can't explain it.

Even when he is in a bad mood or rolling his eyes at me, he somehow makes me feel safe.

I breathe out a sigh of relief when Noah turns onto my road, I can practically taste my bed.

I've heard about some major online debates about being a couch person versus a bed person. It's safe to say I'm definitely a bed person.

If Olivia didn't forcibly drag me out of it, I'd gladly spend 24 hours straight in my bed playing video games.

Noah pulls into my driveway and I get out, thanking him for the ride and waving them both goodbye.

I take out my keys and unlock my door, smiling at the familiar surroundings of my cozy apartment. Sighing at my full suitcase, I decided to unpack a little bit of it, knowing that I won't feel like doing it tomorrow.

Once the majority of my things are put away, I shower and fix myself some ramen noodles to quiet my rumbling stomach.

Lucas has texted me a few times asking to come over tonight, but it's 11:30 pm now and all I want to do is play video games for a bit before bed.

I respond to him that tomorrow will work better as I finally sit down in my bed with my ramen in my lap. I don't waste any time before flicking on my Xbox and grabbing my headset before I sit down.

I put it on and the wore out pads scratch my ears and I cringe at the feeling. I definitely need a new one, this one my mom got me is over 5 years old.

Slurping up a mouthful of noodles, I scroll over to my online friends and see that Drew is on.

I sent him a party invite which is soon accepted.

"Hey Drew, what's up?

"Nothin much. Wanna play Minecraft?"

"Yeah for sure let's do it," I smile, finally getting the feeling I've been craving for the past couple of hours.

We played together for the next hour or so, and half of that time was spent mining for diamonds. We eventually made some wolves into our house pets and created a little caged-in area for them. I giggled when Drew accidentally hit one of them, making it get pissed and attack him.

We were just about to add another story to our house when I heard a knock on my door.

I shoot up from my hunched-over position, whipping my head over to my closed door.

I quickly glance down at my phone and see 4 missed calls from Lucas.

Fuck.

"Sorry Drew, I gotta go, my battery is dying," I speak our familiar code into the mic before jumping up to turn off my Xbox.

"Come in," I call, grabbing my tv remote to turn on Netflix instead.

The door squeaks open and Lucas takes a few steps into my room. To my complete shock, he is wearing a boot instead of being in a cast.
