Chapter 10 Graduation

3 weeks before the final exams I find myself way behind in some classes I started getting after school classes and YouTube tutorials especially with graphic designing I never got above a B I took online courses as well
By the time finals came I was as ready as I can be I find myself smoking in my jeep again before entering school as I walked up to the examination hall for my first subject history then maths after than we had lunch I joined shun st our usual spot taking a smoke break and back at it again the next week between writing and studying my life has gotten simple except for Nathan distracting me from time to time we were happy together .
My final subject was graphic designing I had to design a logo which I've done countless time trying to redesign the relentless logo my logo end up with the skull with hearts as eyes fading the the background surrounded my 2 guitars and a microphone laying on the ground and 2 drum sticks on the sides
After I was done I just went home and fell of my back
Then it hit me I've made the new logo but with so much rush its on the school computer and then Nsthsn started distracting me kissing my neck and squeezing my inner thights I completely forgot about it and I'm just happy for spending time together with my boyfriend and he whisper I'm its the weekend wanna go on a date I just smiled and said sure
Saturday Nathan drove me and him to this place called burger shack I was told not to west anything fancy so I just went with his hoodie and light pink jeans with sandles as we arrived the place look like a dump we both order a burger and one large chips it was a normal date no one recognized us.
As we got home it was kinda late walked in and I notice a piece of paper laying on the kitchen table my report card ?
Anxiety and nervousness got the best of me I just hold it the piece of folding paper unable to say anything Nathan being an ass grab it from my Hans and look up and be down at the paper and back up at me fold it and hand it to me my inner thought was like fuck I didn't do good I failed
Eventually I was curious so I opened it straight A GPA of 4.5 in an envelop on the table is another few papers so I pull them out all my teacher wrote me recommendations
When I got to elize one I read it
To whom it my concern u all wondering who is Avril u may know her from the relentless from YouTube that's only one part of her avril is a hard working individual this past year I've given her some assignment each harder than the previous doubling her work compare to her classmates and every time she handed it in before the deadline outstanding work surpassing my expectation
She wrote lyrics to 24 song sang and record them in all under a month her alone, music is her passion she doesn't care about fame or money anything she sets her mind to she can to
Elize as I read it tears started going down my cheek I guickly put the papers away and rub them just smile at Nathan saying I'm gratuating Next week Friday
Luckily I have a coat and hat the school provided for us

Graduation day !
As we all stood there waiting for our names to get called out I csnd help it my eyes started turning to water and my thoughts drifted of wondering should Andy be proud of me? Will I ever see my dad again ! And next thing someone slap my shoulder saying my name that's when I registered they called me out I walked up to Elize took my diplomas gave her a night hug and stood by the other students we all thew our hat in the air
When I heard about the after party on the baseball field I tried to talk my way out of it but it was mandatory I always had spare clothes in my jeep and my guitar so I grab my bag went to the girl room meanwhile I didn't wear anything underneath it except underwear so I took it of pull on a pair of leather pencil leggings and one of Nathans shirts put my hair in a ponytail put my 3 necklaces on and I was out put my stuff in the back rush to find everyone as soon as I walk up I heard people drinking music wait That's the relentless playing I basically run toward where the band is Elize stop me just before the stage demanding in her boss attitude I'm enjoying my night not playing at all like always she scares me if she's like that so I obey I went to the tables and threw me a cocktail and just scream my lungs out for them when the night came to an end everyone gather around the stage area I was standing my elize I look at her with puppy dog eyes and she was like how can I say no to that fine one song I rush to the jeep got my guitar and ran back as I went up stage plug it the amp I looked at everyone playing again felt amazing more than amazing idk if it was the adrine speaking or the vodka cocktails I had but after the song I grab the microphone from Tom saying I'm gonna sing a song i look at them saying the country punk song I wrote , Tom smiled at me got of the stage and he was cheering harder than anyone as I sang while rocking my guitar the night came to an end and we all went home after we cleaned up everything obviously.
