Riley's POV

"Ry tawag ka ni Ma'am Nita sa office niya." ang sabi ni Jenna habang nakangisi na parang aso. Lakas mang asar talaga.

Sana pala nag absent muna ako ng isa pang araw bago pumasok sa clinic. Kagagaling ko lang sa sakit pagod na agad yung katawan ko.

Kayanin mo Riley choice mo yan eh.

"Anong chismis nanaman nasagap mo kay Marcus? Minsan may gatong yun eh." impit na bulong ko sa tenga niya. Nandito kasi kami sa corridor at may mga parents, baka marinig kami.

"Sabi niya na of all your crushes, si Ma'am Ren palang nakakapunta sa unit mo ayieee." tignan mo opinionated pa yung mga kwento ni Cus.

Kinurot ko siya sa braso "alam mo ikaw issue ka."

Pero... oo nga no?

Alam ko tinanggal ko na siya sa crush list ko pero... add ko nalang ulit, crush lang naman. It isn't that much of a big deal to her and her boyfriend.

While I'm on my way to Ma'am Nita's office, nakasalubong ko si Ma'am Ren. Nag "hi" ako pero dirediretso lang siya at hindi niya ako nilingon.

Huh?

Baka may urgent matter lang kaya hindi niya ako napansin.

After she said that her father is dead, during our breakfast meal last time, she opened up a little bit about her family background. I found out the thing we have in common that Marcus was referring to.

Both of her parents are dead as well.

Her mom died after giving birth to her and her father was killed when she was 10.

Kumatok muna ako bago pumasok sa office ni Ma'am Nita. "Good morning po." I said and smiled to her.

Hala blooming si crush, ang ganda eh. She really has similarities to that person, but I still like ate Nita despite that.

"Hi Riley good morning. Have a sit. Are you okay na?" she asked and gave me a smile.

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Marcus told me that Ren takes care of you?" napakadaldal talaga. Sana hindi niya sinabi yung "first ever crush na nakapunta sa unit ni Riley" side note niya.

"Y.. yes Ma'am, nakaka hiya nga po eh. Boss ko pa talaga naabala ko." kamot ulo kong sabi.

"Don't be. Si Ren, if hindi niya gusto yung gagawin niya, hindi niya gagawin. And besides, I will do the same if I was there." she said those words while smiling.

Kinikilig ako ano ba.

"Anyway Riley, I just want to give you this..." inabot niya yung waiver form.

She informed me that there will be an assessment project in Quezon province and all interns are encouraged, but not required, to join.

"If you want to join, please have it signed by your internship professor and college dean then give it back to me."

Eto ata yung sinasabi ni Jenna at Marcus na may gala daw kami ng may halong work. Parang mga timang talaga. Hindi ko alam paano nag connect yung utak nung dalawa.

I want to join of course. Magandang experience 'to at syempre this is for a good cause.

Bumalik na ako sa assessment room para tapusin yung mga ine-encode ko na psych reports.
