Narda's POV:
At work
I just arrived at the mall and there is a lot of people, more than usual I guess.
I heard whisperes and mumbles of my name as I walked by but ignored them.
I continued walking to the DL clothing where I then spotted Mara.
"Mara!" I shouted and walked up to her.
"Oh! Bakit late ka?" She asked.
"Teka bakit ang daming tao ngayon?" I asked her.
"Di ko nga alam eh" Mara replied but then grinned after.
"Nakita mo ba yung world wide news" She said.
"Oo" I replied.
"Bakit totoo naman ah? I was at Regina's house" I said. "Alam ko! So..anong gingawa nyo" She smiled.
"A-Ano?" I asked.
"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" I asked.
"Narda just tell me!" She said and I sighed.
"Fine...uhm she kissed me" I mumbled and scratched the back of my neck.
"AAAAAAAY OH MAY GOD" Mara yelled and I widened my eyes because she was being so loud.
"HUY! Ang ingay mo!" I said and she held in her excitment.
"How am I supposed to tell you everything if your going to be that loud!?" I asked her.
"Meron pa?!" She asked.
"Girlfriend ko na sya" I whispered into her ear.
I blocked my ears and was ready incase Mara was going to scream again and she did.
"TALAGA BA?!" She asked.
"Huy ang ingay nyo!" Boss yelled.
"Sorry Boss!" Mara said.
"Totoo?!" She asked.
"Oo na! You can even check your phone, maraming photos na post, si Regina kasi she took me out on a breakfast date today so ang daming nakita samin" I said and Mara widened her eyes.
She quickly pulled out her phone.
"May pa kiss pa" She said and smiled.
"Buti naman Bess!" She added and I smiled.
"Invited nga ko sa birthday ni Belle" I said.
"TALAGA? Edi you need to wear something beautiful!" She said.
"Bakit-"
"LUH?! Girlfriend mo si Regina! Isnt belle basically your future stepdaughter" She smirked.
"Huy" I pinched her arm.
"Aray!" She yelled.
"Its in a few months, Im sure I'll figure something out" I said.
"You better" Mara replied.
"Narda!" Brian said and walked up to me, pulling me in for a hug.
"Uy Brian kamusta" I said.
"We havent seen each other for awhile" I added after we broke the hug.
"Okay lang" He said.
"I just uhm wanted to ask if your available, mamaya?" He said.
"Bakit?" I asked.
"May gusto ko lang sabihin sayo" He replied.
"Ah sige" I said and he smiled.
"Sige, I'll see you at the restaurant at 7" He said and I nodded.
He walked away and Mara hit me in the arm.
"Aray?! Bakit!" I asked and rubbed my arm.
"Sabi ko na nga eh! May gusto yan sayo! Si Brian" She whispered.
"Ano kaba! Parang kapatid ko lang sya" I replied.
"Basta sabi ko!" She said and went back to work while I just shrugged.
Later at 7pm
I just arrived at the restaurant and looked for Brian, he waved at me and I walked up to him sitting at a 2 seat table.
"Huy ang sushal naman dito" I said as I took a seat.
"Yes well, I really want to tell you this and for awhile already" He said and I grinned.
"Ano nanaman yan?" I asked.
"Baka gutom ka? Kain muna tayo" He said and handed me the menu.
"Sorry kasi may pupuntahan pa ako eh" I said.
"Ah talaga uhm sige" He said and fixed his tie because he was wearing a suit.
"Nag suit kapa" I mumbled and he laughed slightly.
"I just wanted to say that" He continued.
"I really like you Narda, not as a friend or sister, I like you a lot" He said.
I was shocked, I picked up the water glass and took a sip before replying.
"Uhm..wow uh" I couldnt find the words.
"I cant like you back Brian, may girlfriend ako" I said and he was shocked.
"A-ah talaga?..Girlfriend?" He stuttered and fixed his hair that was in the way.
"Yes.." I said and it was silent for a minute.
"Okay sige, I respect that" He said and I smiled.
"Salamat, I really only see you as a brother Brian" I said and he nodded.
"Okay lang, kapatid nalang din ang turi ko sayo pag yun ang gusto mo" He smiled.
"Salamat Brian, kaylangan ko na umalis. Mag ingat ka ha?" I said as I stood up.
"Oo naman" He replied.
"See you soon" I said and left.
Once I got outside I took a few deep breaths.
*Honk,Honk*
A car honked at me and I looked over to the driver, Regina.
