Labyrinth Opening

Rimuru POV

After spending some time with Felis and Masayuki, I headed down to the lobby at the bottom of the labyrinth as Ramiris flew and rested on my shoulder.

"We are about to go live soon! Is everything ready?" I confirmed with her

Ramiris scoffs proudly, "Hmph! Who do you think I am?"

"Kuahahaha! Don't worry, Rimuru! I'm reliable as it can get!" Veldora assures me with his usual laughter

However, when he made eye contact with me, I made sure to look unhappy so that he understood that he was still in deep trouble and stiffened nervously.

"... I hope you've learned your lesson by now, Veldora~" I told him in the sweetest voice I had

I see him gulping before he finally nods stiffly. 

"Now... we can't make any mistakes today, so I really hope everyone is ready." I said, looking at the two

"Don't worry. We took many safety measures so it should go fine." Mobius assures me while walking up to us with Iris beside her

"Oh, but I have to remind everyone that the labyrinth will be shut down again after this. Once I oversee the situation and have discussions with everyone about the changes that may need to be made to the labyrinth after today, we will get to it immediately. After that, we can reopen it after, say... two to three days." I explained

"Understood, Lady Mother."

"Got it. We will get it up and running as soon as we can too, so just arrange a time for us to have discussions." Mobius nodded in agreement

"Mm! Oh, yes. Did Milim drop by?" I asked

"Yes. She brought the hobgoblin, Gobta, and your Tempest Wolf, Ranga, to Floor 96." Iris replied with a nod

Ah... The poor things... But I'm sorry, I can't help either...

"Oh, and... Milim gave me the commanding rights of the dragons she caught! She told me that if I take care of them well enough, they will eventually evolve into Dragon Lords, which means they will have enough intelligence to understand my orders!" Ramiris added excitedly

On the topic of the dragons, Milim captured them and brought them over so openly that we had complaints during the first two times it happened but by the time she brought the third one, everyone in town already got used to it like it was a daily routine.

"So they wear neck braces too?" I asked

"For now, they are my adorable servants. I'll solidify the master-servant relationship with them in the future too!"

I nod after hearing this and now... "Well, we should get going now. Anyone going to the VIP booth?"

Ramiris raises her hand, "I want to go!"

"I'm gonna pass. It is the duty of the King of the Labyrinth to await his challenger!" Veldora declared before pointing to an empty space, "Besides, your 'door' is here today, so I'm gonna keep watch over it!"

I nod at this, sensing the door to my realm at the area he pointed to, "Thank you."

"We will follow you." Mobius said

With that, I teleported us to the VIP booth, just in time for the event to begin.

"Welcome back, Rimuru-sama." Diablo greeted me with a smile upon seeing us

I gave him a small nod in response and began checking on everything, making sure that they were in place before giving a discreet signal to Mjollmile and Souka, who were in front of the guest hotel and were the broadcasters of this event. Catching my signal, Mjollmile held up the microphone in his hand.
