You do as she tells you.

You can hear him breathing, panting, really hard.

"IT HURTS!" He yells.

"Where?"

"CHEST, MY HEAD, MY FACE." Hunter exclaims.

"FUCK!" Hunter yells.

"Y/n, open the door." She tells you.

Your hands are shaking. Is this really okay?

"Are you sure he'll-"

"SHUT UP!" Hunter yells.

You back away from the door a little, nervous.

"DONT SPEAK! DONT TALK AGAIN!" Hunter screams.

"Lilith this is torture!" You say.

"BE QUIET! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! GET AWAY!" Hunter yells even more.

"W-we're almost done! Only 2 more steps okay?" Lilith says.

You shakily open the door, and walk in the room, looking Hunter in the face. He's shaking uncontrollably, and yelling and yelling.

"NO! NO!!!! I DONT WANNA SEE YOU!" Hunter screams and cries.

You start crying as well. This is such an awful curse. This is torture.

"YOURE GONNA KILL ME IF YOU COME CLOSER IM GONNA DIE!" Hunter yells.

You wipe your tears.

"This is the last step okay? Y/n after this, go back outside." Lilith says.

You nod. Slowly approaching Hunter.

"I just need you to touch him, just a light tap, that's it." She says.

"DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME ILL KILL YOU." Hunter yells.

"GET AWAY! GET AWAY!" He cries.

"I'm sorry!" You cry, holding out your hand.

"NO!" Hunter yells.

You sniff, and cup his cheek in your hand. When you notice, as soon as you touch it, it bled. A lot of blood. Shoot it was supposed to be a light tap, not grabbing. You just wanted to hold him.

He screamed, a loud scream, it hurt your ears, and you immediately backed off, and ran out the room crying.

"WHEN IM OUT OF THESE ILL MURDER YOU! ILL ACTUALLY KILL YOU!" Hunter yells as you run out crying.

He's worse, he really is loosing it, he just threatened to kill You. His sanity is slipping away.

You run outside crying, staring at the blood you made him shed, stained against your hand. You breathe fast, you're terrified, he's never screamed like that ever, he's never yelled that much. This is breaking you, you're only hurting him.

"Hunter she's gone! Stop this at once!" Lilith yells at him.

Hunter is still struggling to get out of the restraints, still angry, still breathing heavily.

"Hunter!" Lilith snaps at him.

He snaps out of it.

"What- huh-" He said.

"What did I do where'd she go?" He asked.

"Did you even hear yourself?" Lilith said.

Hunter tilted his head in confusement.

"As soon as she touched you threatened to kill her Hunter!" Lilith said.

"I- I did?" He stutters.

"Do you still have an intent to kill?! I don't know if I can remove these restraints on you." Lilith says.

"No, i- I'm fine." Hunter breathes.

Lilith looks over at Eda who was sitting in the corner watching the whole time. Lilith gives her a concerned look.

"Yeah, kid, you're staying in the basement till we figure this out." Eda sighs getting up.

"Y-you're not... locking it, are you?" He asks.

"Unfortunately i am, until we make a potion to calm you down." Eda says grabbing a towel, holding it against Hunters cheek, where it's bleeding.

"No what?!" Hunter exclaims.

"I'm sorry, but according to this research it seems the more it happens the worse it gets, however I think we got some valuable things for an idea of a potion through this." Lilith says.

"Look, hopefully you won't stay in the basement for too long, we'll make a batch right now." Eda says, confiscating Hunters palisman, and artificial staff.

Hunter frowns and nods.

Meanwhile you're outside. Just sobbing, absolutely sobbing, you feel hopeless, you can't be near him without him being mean to you and at the same time being in pain. This is hard, you're worried. You don't wanna give up on him but what if you have to for his own good?

Eda and Lilith walk out.

"What happened?" You ask.

"He's locked in the basement right now." Lilith said.

"What?!" You exclaim.

"It's for his own good, he threatened to kill you kid." Eda says.

You frown.

Eda crouches down to your level and put her hands on your shoulders. You look at her.

"He did want me to tell you though." Eda says.

"He's sorry, he says he feels terrible for sounding so angry and mean, he hopes you know that he doesn't mean a word he's saying. He wants you there, and he's thankful you brought him here to help him." Eda says.

"The kid loves you." Eda smiles, patting your shoulder.

"Don't give up on him, we'll figure it out, me and Lilith are out to get some materials for the potion." Eda says.

"And I know you are probably thinking why did any of the research matter, it only made it worse, it actually helps, that was crucial information, the wound on his cheek appeared like a burn wound, so we're gonna need fire wings, and he starts feeling pain when you are approximately 30 yards away from him, so that means 30 sprinkles of fairy dust. And his pain levels show the amount of serpent scales we need." Lilith says.

"These are crucial, so don't feel bad about it, this will help him." Lilith reassures.

You nod, wiping away some of your tears. Luz comes and gives you a big hug.
