You look at him and he looks at you with a scared expression on his face.

"He saw my necklace and he destroyed it. And I was so upset I just was yelling at myself and started destroying my room because I was just so mad." He says.

"Because I destroyed everything and was yelling, I scared flapjack off, he flew out the window, I don't know where he is. It's all my fault." He says.

"Hunter..." you say sadly.

"I'm sure flapjack was just scared but he will come back when he's ready." You say.

He sniffs and nods.

"As for us.. well.. we'll have to be more secretive." You say.

"Let's only stay here, no skipping missions, we're only gonna see each other here." You say.

He nods.

"Unless you wanna come with me on missions." He says.

"But they're dangerous." He says.

"I Can handle it." You say.

"Can you are you sure?" He says.

"Of course." You smile.

"I'm so sorry y/n." Hunter says softly.

"It's okay, we're gonna be okay." You say hugging him tighter.

Let's clean this up for now shall we?" You say helping him up.

He nods.

Some moments pass by and eventually his room is clean. And the two of you are sitting chatting on his bed.

"Since we were talking about missions, any missions you need to do todayyyyyy?" You chirp leaning against his shoulder.

He blushes and glances at you sadly.

"Let me get my list." Hunter mutters walking over to his desk.

He then sits down and looks at them.

"Let's see... a monster (suspected to be a sea serpent) on the southern isles needing to be slayed. Wild  witch suspect in Bones burrow. Basilisk roundup. Oh Titan, manticore in the east? Again?" Hunter says, rubbing his forehead.

You tense up. These are the types of missions he goes on? Those are dangerous!  How is he thinking if it as nothing?

Well.. if he's thinking of it as nothing that means he must be good at his job. Kind of attractive, how strong he must be. Wow. You blush

"These are too dangerous for you Y/n, I don't think you can come to any of these." He says.

"What about the wild witch search, that seems less dangerous." He says.

You shake your head no. He's right it's less dangerous but it's immoral is the problem.

"Okay...um... that leaves the manticore." You say.

Hunter sighs

"They're so dangerous though, I guess they can't trick you like a basilisk, and they aren't 20 meters like a serpent... but they're fast and quiet, you never know when they can jump out." Hunter says.

"I can handle it." You say.

"Fine, but you're not letting go of my hand once we're there, not even for a second." Hunter says seriously.

You smile and nod.

"......You sure you want to do this...?" He says softly, staring at you sadly.

"Yes, if anything, I think going on adventures like this together would be more fun." You say.
