The Dragon Became a Modern Poetaster

Volume One

The Dragon Has a Thousand Agate Eyes

Author's Note:

I have been writing poetry since I was the tiniest spitfire. The first word I ever fell in love with was 'ominous.' I used it whenever I could. Is there a more beautiful word? I would doodle dragons and write poems on every scrap of paper. I'd write them on the backs of my hands in pen. I'd write them in the middle of the night when everyone else slept and sleep refused to visit me. Poetry became my way of expressing the inexpressible and I have many poems - thousands. I have decide it is high time I share. If one of my poems touches one heart, if one of my poems inspires one person, if one of my poems makes someone feel less alone, then all those hours toiled have been hours well spent.
