all of luffys friends are dead black beard and akainu had killed them and were about to kill him when i send him back in time with all his current power to fix this mess and save his crew
(btw i will have to progress this as i watch as I'm up to ep...
the crew were sailing through the fog when they saw a man standing on the water
luffy: "HEY CALL OUT YOUR CREW I KNOW THEY'RE HIDING!"
the man is shocked as the ship rises out of the water
vivi: "l-luffy how did you know that?"
luffy: "uhh observation haki"
it was a little lie and it was pretty obvious but then again luffy may just be hiding his true abilities, or maybe it really was observation haki, honestly, nobody could tell
it plays a little similar to canon however luffy doesn't let the going merry take any damage from getting eaten a bit
they would eventually end up on drum island again and be confronted by the villagers, however instead of vivi begging them to help first or at all in this timeline as this time it's robin that needs help, luffy begins to get on all fours, and beg them
after they were let on the island luffy would pick up robin and use gum gum ufo to fly over to the castle on drum mountain shocking everyone else
luffy: "I'll see everyone later!"
nami: "h-he can fly now?!"
buggy: "that kid is just full of surprises *sniffle* i feel like a proud father"
. . .
buggy: "what?"
ussop: "uhh nothing it's nothing"
everyone -zoro and karoo left for the village

luffy would arrive at the castle and find nobody there
luffy: "aww man we have to wait!"
luffy looked at the unconscious robin in his arms
luffy: "robin..."
he'd hug her while worrying about her
he would take her to the medical room and lay her down in the bed, and eventually, kureha and chopper returned
chopper: "doctor kureha... i smell someone here!"
kureha: "relax it's probably about wanting us to heal someone"
they would head inside and go to the medical room where they would find luffy worrying over a sleeping robin
kureha: "what have we here? a couple of young lovers perhaps?"
luffy: "doctor! please help she got bitten by a bug" (completely ignoring the lovers comment)
kureha: "yeah yeah just step out of the room I'll take care of her"

luffy steps outside the room and sees chopper hiding behind- well uhh not behind a wall
