Burton placed Payal on the bed and eyed her from top to bottom, his eyes filled with tears seeing her injuries. He called doctor he made sure that the doctor should be a lady.
She checked Payal and said bending her head " she is having fever and need to take rest sir"
" not she, call her madam, okay" Burton warned the doctor. She handed some herbal medicine to him and instructed him how to use.
It's afternoon, Burton is sitting beside Payal not even having food or water. Payal slowly opened her eyes and find Him beside her and got frightened. She sat asap and kept blabbering " please spare me don't kill me, I'm sorry I won't do this again" Burton neared her, she was about to get up from bed but he held her arm and made her sit and caressed her hair, she jerked. " I'm sorry my love, I shouldn't have hurt you, I don't know what got into me, you beat me or injure me I won't feel bad, but your words hurt me a lot, my love is pure I love you truly, may be my ways are wrong perhaps, I really love you I can't live without you. I know we both are different, but everything is equal in love, trust me whatever I did is for you, please forgive me for behaving like that with you, I won't repeat it again please trust me, don't leave me alone, if you leave me I will die please try to understand me my love please" Burton kept saying to her and hugged her, she is shivering by his behavior.
" what happened to him, why he is behaving like this, did he gone mad" Payal thought.
" look at me my lady, I promise I won't misbehave with you but don't go away from me, scold me hurt me do what ever you want but present infront of my eyes" he said holding her face.
She is looking at him in terror, " say yes my love, say that you won't leave me, you will never leave my side, just say yes please" he said looking into her eyes, Payal understand that something is really wrong with him, so she nodded her head in yes. " thank you, thank you... thank you..my lady thanks a lot" he said and kissed her all over her face.
Present:
Pragya moved a little bit, Burton opened his eyes a saw her and tried to cover her with bedsheet but he is unable to hold it. " I must do something, I can't be like this" he thought.
It's becoming morning and he is about to leave but his eyes fell on the diary. His eye became wide with shock " it's my diary, that means she is reading it, then she will learn everything I must stop her" he thought.
As he is in thoughts he didn't observed that Pragya is awake and looking at him.
" what are you doing here?" She asked, he turned to her in shock and is about to answer but he remember that his voice is lost, so he decided to not let her know about that.
" I'm asking you white...I'm mean I'm asking you do you need to talk with me?" She asked, to which he didn't answered and avoided her gaze.
" what if she find out!" He thought. " what Happened to him, he never leave a chance to trouble me, something is fishy" she thought and got up from bed and started to walk towards him.
" no, she is coming towards me what if she find out I can't touch her" he feared, stepping back.
" are you okay?" She asked getting confused by his sudden change of behavior. She tried to touch him but he escaped which increased her doubt.
" what happened, why are you avoiding me" she said and again tried to touch him, he again avoided her.
" I must go from here" he thought and vanished from there, making Pragya puzzled.
" really something is happening without my knowledge, I have to find it out" she thought.
Scene shifts:
Pragya came downstairs and find Meera arranging plates at table. She started helping her while searching for her mom.
" is she still angry on me?" Pragya asked, Meera nodded in no, "then where is she?" She asked, " went out along with uncle for some work" Meera replied.
" you know sis, he behaved completely abnormal today, I'm sure he is hiding something from me, I will find out what it is" Pragya said while drinking coffee.
" whom are you talking about?" Meera asked serving breakfast.
" I'm talking about that Burton" Pragya said and choked on her coffee. " oh God, what I just said" she bite her tongue realizing her mistake as she remembered how he asked her to call him by his name.
" are you okay" Meera asked looking at her sis who is freezed in shock.
