"Hunter! I.. ah!" You gasp, as he drags you under the bleachers.

He scoops you up bridal style and runs a little further away from everyone. He drops you down and places his arms on your shoulders.

"What's the big idea?" You said.

He embraces you tightly. You sigh and hug him back.

"You weren't home, I got worried, I was searching everywhere for you and you weren't answering your necklace." He says.

"Hunter, I'm fine!" You say.

"I'm sorry, I- AH!" He screeches.

"Let her go you creep!" Luz yells using one of her plant glyphs trapping him in vines.

You whirl your head around to see Luz and the others standing behind you, glaring at Hunter, with their fists and fingers up, about to fight and cast spells.

"Guys stop!" Gus says getting Infront of them.

"Gus.." You say softly, feeling bad.

"Gus why are you defending him? He tried kidnapping y/n." Amity hisses.

"No he wasn't!" Gus replies.

"What?" Luz replies.

"Luz, let him go.. please..!" You say.

"He wasn't trying to hurt me, he was just checking up on me." You say.

"Checking up on you? what is that supposed to mean?" Luz tilts her head.

"Um... well.. we.. I.. um.." You say trying to gather your courage.

"We're together." Hunter says, being able to release himself from the vines.

"WHAT?!" Luz and Amity say simultaneously.

"Y/n, is that true?" Luz says, walking up to you.

You silently nod. Amity and Luz look at each other in shock and then back at you and Hunter.\

"I was scared, I thought keeping it a secret wouldn't hurt you guys, but now that you guys know, I.. I hope you don't look at me as a bad person." You say sadly.

"Y/n, no of course, not, I just wish you would have told us sooner, than us run into assumptions." Luz says.

"I will admit, he's a bit of a brat, but, he's okay I guess." Luz sighs, looking at Hunter.

Hunter sticks his tongue out at her.

"However um.. can I talk with her alone for a second, Hunter?" Luz grumbles, pulling you away.

Hunter rolls his eyes and backs off from you guys.

"I just don't want you listening to any of that nonsense he's saying about wild magic and Belos and all that, because its not true unless you experience it." Luz grumbles.

"When it comes to that kind of stuff, I don't believe him. Honestly, I think he's warming up to it, he has a palisman, and he's super close to it, I think he's getting somewhere." You smile looking over at him.

"If you say so." Luz says.

"I'm sorry for scaring you guys thinking he was kidnapping me or something, but no he's not like that at all, he's actually a lot more nicer than you guys think." You flush pink.

Luz giggles, and pats your shoulder. "Hey, if you can, try and keep him off our back from building the portal, okay?" Luz winks.

"Of course I will." You smile.

"What about your game? Are you gonna go back to it?" You ask.

"No, we're good, I called it off when I saw you disappeared." Luz says.

"Luz, I'm so sorry." You frown.

"Its okay, this is more important, I'd rather know the truth about you guys than anything and run to wild assumptions." Luz smiles.

You nod.

The day ended with you guys just parting your ways. You hung out with Hunter the rest of the day. it was nighttime, you were at a park together just the 2 of you, sitting and talking.

"I'm sorry about the whole inconvenience about today, its.. my fault, I shouldn't have come to see you, I should have just focused on my duties like I'm supposed to." Hunter grumbles.

"Hey, its okay, you were worried, and it got solved out in the end, and now we know that nobody is mad at us." You say, patting his shoulder.

He flushed pink.

" Hey, you're still able to come to my bard competition in a couple of days right?" You ask.

"Of course I can, I wouldn't miss it, but you need to be careful while your performing, I didn't realize how dangerous Bard competitions could be until I did more research." Hunter says.

"if you get hit, you stay out of there and get immediately off of the field, I don't want anyone hurting you any further." Hunter says sternly.

"Don't worry I'll get off as soon as I can, I've done bard competitions a couple times actually, so don't worry, I know what I'm doing." You smile, you appreciate his concern towards you.

"I should probably head home now, its late, my parents are probably curious as to where I am." You chuckle.

Hunter nods, and helps stand you up. The two of you were sitting on a bench.

"I'll see you then?" Hunter says softly with his big red shimmery eyes.

You smile brightly, staring directly at them. "I'll see you, Hunter." You grin, giving him a tight embrace. 

And with that, you make your way back home.
