"Let's get you back to the dorm, alright?" Enid said, and Wednesday nodded, lifting herself off Enid and standing up. Enid stood up, grabbed Wednesday's things, and walked with her through the back door and into the dorm.

As they got inside, Enid immediately felt Wednesday hugging her again...no, squished her.

"Wen-" "No, please..." Wednesday mumbled, making her grip even stronger. "I...I need this."

Enid gave in without hesitation, after all she wanted Wednesday to be like this since they knew each other.

Wednesday was still a mystery to Enid, she didn't completely understand everything Wednesday said or did, but they still met alive in the dorm at the end of the day. Enid suggested to Wednesday that before going to bed, they sit down, and talk about their days. Wednesday didn't agree nor disagree with that idea, and it has been going on for three weeks already.

"Wends, tell me really why are you so sad?" Enid asked, still rubbing Wednesday's back.

The smaller girl didn't respond.

"We promised we won't hide secrets from each other." Enid very calmly said.

"I...don't know what to do," Wednesday said, lifting herself up. "Should I tell Weems that I have a stalker, who wants to kill me?"

"Maybe, or a sheriff," Enid said as Wednesday looked at her. "Still Weems is already capable of some things."

"You...aren't confused why?" "Of course not Wends! It's okay to be scared, shy, and sad. Some emotions make us stronger, and if you don't want them to be seen in public, then you don't need to hide them here, between us two." Enid said, and smiled. "I actually really like this side of you."

"Hm?" "You being so soft and fragile," Enid said, as Wednesday looked at her if she was joking or not.

"So this isn't wrong?" Wednesday asked, Enid, shaking her head. "But...no one is sweet to me like you."

"Then you can be whatever you need to be here!" Enid said. "You will still be my roommate and friend."

"Thanks, Enid," Wednesday said and hugged Enid again.

Wednesday changed. A lot.

It was a normal day after school, and Wednesday was again threatening Xavier because he asked her which flower she likes. Xavier ran away like a baby when Wednesday stopped joking and actually pulled out a frying pan from her backpack.

"Wends, from where you have that thing?" Enid asked as they were walking towards their usual spot.

"Thing brought it to me once," Wednesday said, and they sat down, next to each other.

"Got any plans for ton-" "Not here, Enid." Wednesday quietly said, not taking her eyes off the book, as Enid was eating.

"Okay," Enid responded. "What are you reading?"

"Homework," Wednesday said and showed Enid the cover. Werewolves and their abilities.

"I could tell you-" "Enid, eat," Wednesday ordered. "And no, I don't want to bother you."

Oh god, this again. "Wednesday, for the last time; you could never bother me," Enid said as Wednesday looked at her.

"Got that? Never. Just ask me, and if I know, I will respond." Enid said. "But I'm stupid, so I don't know everything."

"That's...not right," Wednesday said. "You aren't stupid."

"Mhm, and you are not called Wednesday." "What if I'm not?" Wednesday quietly giggled, as Enid blew into laughter.

Soon after Enid finished her food, they both made their way into their dorm. As soon as they stepped inside, Enid asked again.

"So, what you up to tonight?" Enid asked the black-haired girl.

"Nothing. You want to watch something?" Wednesday asked, Enid, nodding like crazy. "Okay, pick something then."

"Okay!!!" Enid said, and went towards her laptop immediately, as Wednesday made her way to the bathroom.

Enid was so happy to see that Wednesday was so much sweeter and nicer when it was just them. Enid didn't mind, she loved this, and the violent Wednesday the same, but she preferred this one.

"So? Picked something?" Wednesday asked as she sat down on Enid's bed. Enid nodded and placed the laptop down on the bed.

Wednesday laid on Enid's bed as she started the movie, and lay beside her, handing her a bag of chips.

"So, how was your day, Wends?" Enid asked the smaller girl, who already switched to her own self.

"Kinda good, if it wasn't for Xavier, it would be better," Wednesday said, taking a chip out. "Honestly, I should already go on a date with him."

"If you feeling like that, then go!" "That's the thing, I don't even know what I feel, but it isn't affection for sure," Wednesday replied, slightly chuckling.

"Then tell him that you are not interested," Enid said. "I think hitting him with a pan won't do it."

Wednesday laughed, and hid her face in Enid's chest, as Enid blew into laughter too.

Yeah, definitely the better Wednesday.
