4:37 am.
The dry and slightly cold autumn wind blew through the open window in the dim lit office with three detectives sitting in each corner of the office, exhaustion written all over their faces while trying to go through multiple files.
Papers scattered throughout the room giving an uncomfortable sight to anyone who might walk in on them even they themselves hate how messy it was, but that was the least concern right now.
"god my eyes hurt so bad" jeongin groaned covering his eyes from bright light coming from the laptop Infront of him "we're not even close to done yet" hyunjin chuckled not moving his eyes from the paperwork in his hands.
"you can go home" minho said directing his words to jeongin "can you stop?" jeongin looked at minho irritated by what he said "what?" minho looked confused "Stop belittling me" jeongin said, his voice harsher than before "umm i literally just said go home?" minho tried to keep it together to not lash out on him.
"oh yeah? it's not the first time you looked down at me what's your problem with me?" jeongin threw the laptop on the couch and stood up "what the hell are you talking about?" minho sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose
"guys can we not do that right now? We have a whole file messing and an unsolved case that is somehow connected to that file" hyunjin meddled as soon as he noticed where the irritated conversation between the two was going
"just go home you two" minho sighed again "no one's going home minho, we're supposed to be working on this together remember?" hyunjin defensively spoke "you're unbelievable" jeongin walked out the door slamming it behind him.
"what is wrong with him?" minho rolled his eyes "i just think he's tired he'll come back" hyunjin assured.

9:14 am.
"morning lix" sana smiled once she saw her co-worker walk through the back door of the coffeehouse they both work at "morning" he gave her his usual bright smile "you're late but i covered for you, so you owe me" she joked and he playfully rolled his eyes at her "covered for me how? When all the booths and tables are embty still" he smirked "you didn't see it an hour ago it was full of students" she defended herself "yeah i totally believe you" he chuckled "is it that obvious?" she sighed "yeah" he continued giggling at her "but you know if you really need me to cover for you today i can do that, you don't have to lie to me" he continued
The bell on the door dinged announcing a customer walking into the coffee and felix quickly put on his white apron and walked out of the kitchen only to be met with two heads appearing from one of the booths and he knew who they were without even seeing their faces, and to say he was suddenly excited was an understandment but of course not excited to see his brother.
He walked to their booth and saw the two of them on their phones "hi" he looked at hyunjin specifically with a small smile that soon disappeared when his brother looked up from his phone
"hi felix" he said making hyunjin look up from his phone as soon as he heard the name and he couldn't help but smile at the freakeld boy Infront of their table
"you know our orders felix" minho spoke interrupting whatever that was happening between his brother and his friend "you know our orders Felix " felix mocked his older brother hating how he ruined his moment "you know you can get fired for treating customers like this" minho warned him "whatever" felix rolled his eyes and walked away to get their usual orders not forgetting to throw hyunjin another smile before walking.
"HEY" minho slapped hyunjin's arm to get his attention away from his younger brother "what?" hyunjin immediately looked at him with questioning look on his face "my brother? Hyunjin?" minho whisper yelled "what are you talking about?" hyunjin unlocked his phone to ignore the coming questions from the guy next to him "oh don't play stupid, i saw how you guys were looking at each other " minho narrowed his eyes at him
"it's not my fault he's cute" hyunjin murmured, praying that minho didn't hear him "what did you just say?" minho glared at him "nothing" he tried to hide the growing smile.
"you're so obvious" minho rolled his eyes at his friend then went back to his phone
"here" felix came back with the orders "iced Americano for you" he placed the cup carefully Infront of hyunjin "and mojito for you" he fake smiled at his brother "and this is on the house " he purposefully placed the buttermilk Beignet donut Infront of hyunjin knowing how much he likes them
"thanks" hyunjin's smile widened even more
"oh god" minho murmured hating the whole unsaid words between the two "felix you have work waiting for you, so go" minho sighed "you're annoying " both felix and hyunjin said in unison making the older glare at both of them.

9:30 pm.
Felix made sure to lock the coffee after him since he was the last to leave. He put his earphones in and walked the way to his house, and as he was walking he couldn't ignore the feeling of being watched.
He walked faster and removed one of his earphones, he looked behind him to make sure no one was there and all he could see is the bushes to his side moving a bit which only quickened his heartbeats but he soon let out a relieved sigh as a Kitten jumped out of the bushes
"jesus" he put his earphones back in and continued walking not knowing that someone is actually watching him.
"stupid" a masked man clothed in all black whispered to himself as he watched the freckled boy walk away
Things are starting to be unsafe.
