Author's Note: Hello, lovelies! I've created a Twitter account, so please give me a follow @reiabritannia (same as my Wattpad)! I'll be posting WIP's, answering your questions, and generally fangirling over Levi – so don't miss out!

Now, as for the story, please be advised it is a bit steamy. Things are discussed, but nothing happens  rather, something already happened. ;) Enjoy!

After cleaning Levi and then yourself with a warm washcloth, you flopped onto the bed next to him, exhausted.

"You doing okay?" you asked, unable to help your blissful grin as you snuggled close to him.

"Yeah," he murmured, still looking overwhelmed and tired out by his first time, but in a good way. "You?"

"Mmm...yeah," you hummed, closing your eyes. You felt exceedingly comfortable here, tangled up with Levi and cushioned by the soft bed – so much so that you never wanted to move again.

You two lay together quietly for a minute, until Levi broke the silence, his voice soft and hesitant. "Was it...good for you? Was I...?"

He trailed off, and you couldn't help giggling at his bashful demeanor, your heart warmed by his innocent and earnest desire to please you. You opened your eyes, observing the beautiful blush that was gracing his cheeks for the hundredth time tonight, as well as the fact that he seemed too nervous to look at you. Even now, you were still awed to see the eternally stoic captain looking so adorably flustered – and you were happy to be the one who made him that way.

"You were perfect," you replied honestly, pecking him sweetly on the nose.

He swallowed. "Y-you're sure? I wasn't too...needy?"

Your heart melted as you thought back to several minutes ago, when he'd practically been begging you to touch him. He didn't care where, or how – he just wanted to feel you. It was sweet, really, because it came from a place of innocence, even when you two were doing something no-so-innocent. Whether your hands were in his hair, or holding his slim waist, or tracing patterns across his porcelain, scar-flecked skin, he wanted that closeness with you – wanted the reassurance of your loving touch while his heart and body were laid bare, more vulnerable than he'd ever been.

It was the exact opposite of his day-to-day behavior, when he refused to let anyone touch him unless it was absolutely necessary – but to you, it made perfect sense he'd be like this now. You'd seen little hints of it before, when he'd offer to fix your hair or give you massages as an excuse to initiate contact, when he'd lean into your hugs and linger there, when he'd chase your kisses like they were addictive. Before he'd started dating you, he'd been touch-starved for decades. And now that he finally felt safe enough to let someone close – to let you – all that suppressed need for affectionate contact came surging out like a flood.

You reached out to brush his hair away from his face, marveling at how smoothly his silky strands slid through your fingers. "No darling, you weren't too needy," you assured him. "Trust me when I say I am more than happy to touch you as much as you like. You're gorgeous, Levi."

His blush deepened, and he curled in on himself slightly, as if he were trying to hide from you.

You giggled at the adorable display and continued, "Besides, I'm glad you feel comfortable enough to tell me what you want. That's good."

Levi glanced up at you shyly. "I-it is?"

"Of course," you told him, smiling. "Open and honest communication is important in any case. And in this particular situation, it helped me know how to make you feel good – which is what I want."

Again, he had to look away, overwhelmed by your genuine affection for him. "O-oh." He bit his lip, then added in a faint voice, "Um...t-thank you."

Another giggle escaped your lips, but it was quickly interrupted by a yawn. "Well, I don't know about you," you murmured, "but I'm completely worn out."

Levi's gaze met yours, his grey eyes innocent and sincere. "Do you want me to leave so you can get some sleep?" he asked.

"No, silly!" you cooed. "I want you to stay here and sleep with me – if you want to."

"Oh," he repeated, biting his lip shyly. "I...I want to. And...I think I could sleep. Normally, it's...well, you know, but...I feel like it could be better, with you here."

Your expression softened, and you moved to caress his flushed cheek with your thumb, brushing it with gentle strokes. You knew Levi suffered from extreme insomnia due to nightmares, rarely sleeping more than two or three hours per night. If he thought your presence could help...if you made him feel relaxed and comfortable and protected enough to sleep...that was huge. You were glad you could create such a safe space for him.

"Let's get under the covers, then," you suggested, reluctantly detaching yourself from him so you both could shimmy into the soft sheets. Once you were tucked in, you immediately went back to cuddling Levi's petite frame, wrapping your arms around him and hugging him close. "Goodnight, sweetheart," you murmured before placing a kiss on his lips.

"Goodnight," he replied, his mouth quirking into a small, blissful smile. Then he nestled into your embrace as if his bones had been made to fit with yours, pressing close as if your skin were his joy and his home and everything he ever needed. And because he was so close, you felt it when his muscles relaxed completely, letting go of their usual tension in favor of your warmth.

He fell asleep perfectly content – and so did you.
