Disclaimer this is technically not the same Loki from Marvel heh which is why the guy in question doesnt quite look like Tom Hiddleson
This is Loki, the Norse god of mischief. He was a shapeshifter, and could even shift his gender (like that time he turned into a female horse and got pregnant and gave birth to an 8-legged horse Sleipnir-) and basically went around causing mayhem. He also sired Fenrir the wolf and the world serpent Jormungandr.
There's a myth where he ended up causing the death of Baldur, and as punishment his sons were killed and he was tied to a rock with the intestines of his own sons and a snake was tied above him and slowly dripped poison into his eyes for eternity. How fun.
