Riddle me Murder

Crime scene

My phone rang. I picked up. Everything was emotionless. I had just escaped Jason, killing him in doing so. I was alive. But I had done so much wrong.

"Gray Pelton?" The voice of the chief police investigator spoke to me.

"Yes," I replied.

"Your classmate, Amelia has died. Please report to the crime scene immediately. You will be investigating this case.

"Okay."

"Grey... are you all right?" Asked the officer.

"Yeah."

He hung up.

I wandered down the road to my apartment block, and went to Amelia's room. I opened the door, and a cop tackled me. "You're under arrest for the murder of Amelia Otto!"

I tumbled to the ground, the cop pinning me and cuffing me. I coughed. "Why?" I sputtered out, "I didn't do anything!"

The police chief walked over to me and crouched. "Nice try, murderer, but I didn't tell you the address of the crime. You were there when it happened, or you saw what happened, and you didn't report it immediately." He grinned.

"No! I came to Amelia for help! She hid me from Jason! He's the one who killed the professor!"

"Yeah, right. Lock 'em up, boys."
