Lan xichen was confused.

Why did Xiao Xingchen and Song Zichen call him like... this?
He could have just normally send him a letter to meet
He has been friends with the two cultivators for a while now.

" Xiao xingchen, song lan. Why did you guys call me like...this? " lan xichen asked

"What do you mean?" Song lan asked, confused.

Song lan sighed, shaking his head.

"Sorry xichen." He said to lan xichen.

Lan xichen smiled, shaking his head "Anyway, why did you call me?"

"There is something we need to discuss, but let's go somewhere more Private." Song lan said to which lan xichen agreed.

The cultivators travelled to the abandoned mountain of yilling. That's the only place that is private enough.

"Now tell me what's the matter?" Lan xichen asked.

"Wei yang...he is alive." Xiao Xingchen said.

"WHAT!"Lan xichen exclaimed.

Xiao xingchen nodded his head.

"He was found by a man, half dead." Song lan said.

"Where is he now?" Lan xichen asked, still not able to digest the news.

All these while they thought the wei's were wiped out .

"With Grandmaster Baoshan sanren." Xiao Xingchen said.

" So, A-ying, what about wei ying? " lan xichen asked with fingers crossed , a little last hope .

At that the cultivators face fell.

"He was killed right in front of Wei yang." Song lan said giving a support to xiao xingchen  who has been feeling guilty all the while for not being about to save his A-ying despite everyone saying it's never is his fault.

Lan xichen grip on his sword grew tighter. So the suspicion of all the sect's were right.

"Yes," Song lan said.
