'y/n what is going on?',
I heard someone ask as they walked in to my hospital room, I immediately knew who it was. It was my boyfriend, Josh. I shook my head at him as I let my legs hang off of the side of the bed,
'I keep telling them that I am fine and that I can go home',
I said to Josh as I slowly moved my feet on to the ground. Josh quickly put what he had in his hands down before quickly moving around to the side I was now standing on. He put his hands onto my sides quickly helping me balance and make sure I was stable,
'it's just a few more days and then I'll take you home',
Josh said to me, I shook my head at him before trying to take a step but failing, I stumbled into his chest. He wrapped his hand around my waist and placed his other hand on the back of my head,
'josh, I want to go home',
I said into his chest. Josh left a kiss on the top of my head before rubbing his hand up and down my back,
'I know baby, I know but you've just had spine surgery they have to keep you in here for a few more days to make sure everything is okay',
Josh said to me pushing me backwards slightly so I was now pressed against the bed, I sat back slightly now sitting on the bed,
'y/n, baby would it help if I were to sleep here for the night?',
Josh asked me, I looked up at him as I felt tears swell in my eyes before nodding my head at him slightly,
'you would do that?',
I asked him, Josh slowly smiled at me before helping me move my legs back on to the bed,
'of course I would y/n, I love you and if it would help you, I will sleep in that crappy chair for as long as you need'.
