'I just need a minute!',
I said to Sab as we danced at the party together, I quickly excused myself and made my way out onto the balcony to get a breath of fresh air. I let out a shaky breath before climbing over the ledge and sitting on it,
'you shouldn't be sitting there',
I heard someone say as they walked out on to the balcony. I looked back and realised it was Chase, I rolled my eyes ever so slightly before looking forward once again,
'well I am so either deal with it or fuck off',
I said to him, he slowly approached me and wearily sat down next to me,
'well instead would you like to explain to me why you're sitting on the ledge?',
Chase asked somewhat philosophically. I slowly nodded my head at him still refusing to look at him,
'it numbs the pain; doing something like this, feeling the air and wind across my face',
I said to him before letting out a breath I hadn't realised I had been holding in. Chase moved closer to me,
'let me help y/n',
Chase said to me putting his arm around my shoulders, I finally turned my head to look at him before shaking my head at him as tears began to fall,
'I don't want help; I just want the pain to stop'.
