Back when I first started the Naruto/Avatar crossover series, I was at first pretty scared but excited. Excited in that I absolutely love both Naruto and Avatar, but scared because, at that time, I had only ever done Spider-Man stories. Could I REALLY pull off a story that wasn't a Spider-Man one? Regardless, I got to work, rewatching both Naruto and Avatar... making sure I'd get characterizations right, you already know.
The one thing I never gave any thought to when I started as a Wattpadder though... was covers. The covers app Wattpad used back then was barebones as can be. Just get a random picture, put in plain and boring text that may not always be seen and hope for the best. Luckily, the cover for this story had come out decently...

However, I always felt the cover was so boring and standard, that one would be forgiven if they had no idea this was a Naruto and Avatar crossover until AFTER they read the summary. When I had, years later, made a new cover for the upcoming 3rd book of the series, it just didn't sit right with me that Book 3 would look so much more unique than the other 2 books. So I started working on making a new cover, but I wanted to honor the original by keeping that same picture of Naruto within the new cover. So, taking some inspiration from the original Book 1 season 1 case (not the cover art) which showcased the Northern Water Tribe, I made a whole new cover for this story.

I wanted to do something similar to what I had done with Book 3's cover, so here we go! I put Sasuke in a similar position to Ozai in the Book 3 cover, showcasing that he would be one of the main players in the enemy team, meanwhile I put the current members of Team Avatar in the picture with Naruto leaping above them with the Rasengan, claiming his position as the MC of this crossover series. Because of the brighter setting within the cover (Northern Water Tribe vs lots of fire in Book 3) I decided to have the Worlds Collide logo match the same colors as the Naruto logo, which is in the same font, with the Book 1 notifier being blue. Honestly, this was one of the more simplest visual edits I had to do in a while, but I do hope it better captures the spirit of this book.
