Whatever he'd thought of, he soon regarded considering, and so had himself shift to a straighter sitting position. That led the other to move as well, and cast a, well ... apparently it was a quizzical glance directed to the male, appending to it being her inquiring, “What is-s it?”
He flicked an ear in regards of her question, managing to stand up soon after with a swift, “I've got an idea,” and as he did, he also turned around to look at her, lent his hand out --- that just prior had dropped the grasp as he was standing --- to signal for her to stand. Chica, at this was very confused, but could do nothing but abide, hence her semi-stiff wrist pretty much rested into his offered hand a few seconds after.
When the female was up as well, without letting go of her wrist, he pondered for a second, then stretched the arm the hand of which was curled around hers, and as result had her limb move in the same motion. Yet still, the bird was staring at him perplexed, but didn't ask about what he was doing for just that moment.
And, a beat after, the male had explained his actions to her anyway, when his free arm had went around her waist and pulled her close enough in a way of a half-hug, murmuring along with that a, “I recall reading something about this, somewhere,”
“About wha-hat-?” there was mirth in her tone, covering up the emotion of puzzlement that was clouding her thought. It was unusual, after all, being put to a position as this. It wasn't even an entire embrace or something.
“Well, they call it some form of dance, but ...” a snort was to follow as he had said that, and while the bird could only tilt her head then, she almost lost balance at a sudden attempted movement from the bear, and, by the looks of it, he'd nearly done the same. I mean, what do you expect at the first effort anyway-? They're no professionals. Of course they'd tripped over one another's legs.
A bit of a silent pause between them, it was broken at her abrupt chuckle, and the touching of her forehead to his shoulder. The action itself led him to laugh too. He had expected accident, after all, but it was supposed to be right at where he'd only readied to begin .. that, he hadn't fully calculated.
The brief pattern of that soon had a small cut in when the female then paused the mirthful action to add a, “What are you eve-even doing, Fred-?” in between, at which he defended his point after a short delay, more because he'd thought for a suitable answer for those couple seconds.
“Well, I told you already. It's .. a little pass-time ..” He snorted in between, while the bird shifted back to the way she'd been standing prior to having set her head to his shoulder. Amusement was still evident in her optics, though she was intent on trying whatever this was with the other, so hadn't said more on it. The bear did though, and, it was after all of that, him continuing through the words, “And, I guess we might need a little more rehearsing,”
Following that, he'd tried again with the previous movement that'd resulted in both of them tripping, adding to himself a light, “Just, follow along to what I do,”
Aand, complying, the bird sure tried, and at the first attempt a swaying step to the side even went a little, better than the last. However, just before it could be thought they'd worked it out, there was another near-tripping act commenced by one foot stepping on another. Yeah, they were sure learning.
.
After a couple few more of tries and fails, the pair eventually did manage to attain some result out of this, though one thing was obvious about it; wherever Fazbear had read about this, dance, he sure hadn't read all of it, or couldn't fully remember. Whichever of the two it was, it proved its point through the evidence that their little endeavor had taken its own unique form, honestly, and didn't fully appear like what you'd expect by what he'd intended to actually go with. However, it was fun, nonetheless.
A few more minutes passed by like that, with their swaying stride from one side to another keeping as it was, and by this time, I'm pretty sure it was way past the half-hour mark. I guess the other two had forgotten to return or something or I'm just overcalculcating, but again, half-hours aren't this long.
Anyway, that small act of theirs did gradually slow with another moment or more going by, shifted to being, more of a full embrace, almost. Not that it was entirely noticed, however, at least not until an eventual stillness fell into play, it almost seeming as though both had slumbered in one another's arms.
It was a minute or more later to the pause, that it occurred to the ursine that they had stopped in that small activity. By that point his eyes were shut, so he'd opened them, somewhat let it sink in that was more just hugging her anymore than anything else. A slight blink, and then he, without shifting from his position any, had uttered the other's name, though, just yet, only gained silence at that.
A brief flick of an ear, the male waited for a beat after that, before again addressing the yellow mascot in a faint voice, and then at the second bout of silence had somewhat pulled away from that momentary embrace. As he'd done that, she'd instantly jolted in her place as a reaction, almost as if she really had fallen asleep whilst standing, and the bear's pulling her away from his shoulder had snapped her awake state back.
Having given a short shake of her head straight after, an apparently groggy glance was the one action that soon commenced, the two's gazes locking for a minute, before ultimately she did fill in the verbal pause with a quizzed, “What tim-ime is it?”
“I'd guess longer than usual,” somewhat humming that as a reply, he gained a snort in return.
“The others have-haven't come back. Have gone to sleep outside-?”
Not responding with words as he himself wouldn't have the idea, the ursine just snickered, before both had simultaneously looked towards the door of that room, which had observed not even the slightest shift. Had the other two really decided on sleeping outside as the yellow mascot had inquired, well, it did seem like the possibility.
Anyway, after a short moment of just keeping their focuses there, eventually Freddy did switch his, and turned to the other so to gesture with the motion of his head --- and, more a clicking sound from his voice-box --- that they'd settle down then. And, once noting, the bird done nothing but comply with a nod, and hence, the two soon returned to where they'd been sitting earlier to that small activity ...
