Ellie's POV.
Jack: are you sure about me being a part of this group?
Ellie: yea! but you're not part of this group.. yet!
Jack: what do you mean?
Ellie: remember what Red said? If you wanna be part of this group you gotta survive and if you die they might say that it wasn't worth wasting their time on you of some shit like that
Russ: hey! Jack!
Jack: Yeah?
Russ: let's go!
Jack nods walking up to Russ and Red as I follow him with my backpack and a katana sword
Cry: Ellie, where do you think you're going?
I turn around to face Cry
Ellie: I'm coming with them
Jack: you don't have to..
Ellie: no! I need to completely prove that I'm worth being in this group
Red: Ellie..
Ellie: I also don't trust you and Russ since you guys might end up murdering him
Red chuckles
Ellie: alright, you can come
Russ: isn't 3 people enough?
Red: Russ!
Russ: what?
Red: ugh! Never mind! Let's just go!
The four of us walk out waving goodbye to Cry and Snake as we get out of the building, I look to my left to find the hoard of walkers surrounding the building that Snake was on yesterday
Russ: Ellie! Hurry! While they're still distracted!
He whispers, I nod as I catch up with them
Red: this way, next street to the right
Red whispers pointing to the right while we follow her, we then finally arrive at the grocery store without a single walker gaining suspicion nor attention on us, we walk up to the grocery to notice that it's locked
Red: shit. Do any of you have a crowbar?
Jack: I have one
Russ: that's my crowbar
Jack: well.. while we were sneaking around, your crowbar would've fell on the floor and would've made a loud sound if I didn't catch it so here you go, Red
Red: thank you
Russ: psh, whatever
Red jams the crowbar in the small space between the two doors and moves the handle of the crowbar side to side as she tries to open the door
Russ: let me help
Red: don't worry, I got this!
Ellie: I don't think there's anyway to get in there, and even if we did open the door there's a bell at the door frame which will cause noise that will attract the walkers' attention
Russ: she's got a point
Red: *huff* fine.. Wait, here's Jack?!
Jack: over here!
Jack whispers a bit louder, he motions us to the alleyway he is in which is next to the grocery store, we follow him as he leads us to a backdoor, I walk up to the door and turn the knob praying that there isn't any walkers here- I quickly open the door and aim my crossbow inside the store, everyone holds up their weapons as we slowly, we then see a shadow figure holding a gun standing in front of us
??: who the fuck are you
She sounds kinda familiar
Russ: before we answer your question who are YOU?
??: you really wanna mess with me, scrub?!
Russ: I was just asking!
??: I asked you first!
Ellie: guys stop!
Russ: bitch!
??: scrub!
Ellie: guys please, you're gonna-
Russ: is scrub the only thing you know?!
??: get out!
Russ: don't sound like as if you own this place!
Ellie: stop okay?! If the walkers come here because of you two we're fucked!
They stop yelling at each other and just stay quiet
Ellie: good, now.. ma'am! May we take some supplies so that we can leave you in peace?
??: please, call me..
She then steps out of the dark and looks at me with her brown eyes
??: Minx?
