CHAPTER 5: Memory Synchronization (PART 3)

House: The crazy things people have been doing today.

Moon: Nothing's going o-on.

House: You literally just said that you were striking a nerve with everybody today.

Moon: Striking a nerve on whoooooooo- (glitches then flies up)

House then got worried but then he heard a scream nearby, which sounded like it came from above. He looks up and there's X falling towards Moon.

House: M-Moon! Look out!

Moon continued to glitch and then X fell on top of Moon, crushing him.

House: Moon?!

X: (stood up) Ow! Huh? What...? Where am I? Who are you?

House: D-Dude! You just killed Moon!

X just stood there with a confused expression.

Inside Artist's Tower, there's Nonbinary still running away from Inkwell while they chase after them. Nonbinary was cornered with the gem crack behind them. They look at Inkwell with a terrified expression and so Inkwell tries to slowly approach Nonbinary to show that they are not a foe.

Inkwell: Hey, hey now. It's okay! I'm not going to-

Nonbinary snatches the gem from Inkwell using their asterisk sticking above their head and places it inside the crack, which causes a memory to flash before the two.

Torch was thrown into an empty room where he saw Headphones sitting at the corner. He approaches Headphones but then gets startled when she opens his eyes.

Torch: Who... who are you?

Headphones: It's not too late, Eye Patch. You still have time.

Torch: Huh?! How did you-

Headphones: They betrayed us. They promised that they'll take care of us till the end of time. But then they broke that promise and threw us in this empty box. It's already too late for me to escape. But you? You still have hope. Go, go now. Go through the light over there.

Headphones point at a bright hallway, leading to somewhere that they don't know. Torch stood up and did what Headphones said.
