Back to Naboo Pt 2

On Naboo things were happy and fun but whenever Padme would include Kane Anakin would seem annoyed and from his advances she thinks it might be that he is in love with her but she just doesn't feel the same way as she currently is thinking about Kane and the other Jedi she has spoken to like masters Windu and Yoda expressed their current concern with Kane isolating himself.

Currently they were having dinner and Anakin was explaining one of his missions with Obi-Wan and then Padme saw that Kane was just eating and not paying attention and wanted to what could only be assumed as getting to know him more or involving him.

"Kane what about one of your missions" asked Padme now Anakin looked annoyed

Kane sighed "are you sure their mostly just me fighting off bounty hunters and exploring old temples of the Sith and Jedi"

"wait the Sith like the opposite of the Jedi like the guy from 10 years ago who killed master Qui-Gon?" she asked she sounded intrigued but also slightly scared 

"yep but he was weak compared to other Sith" replied Kane 

now Anakin was intrigued "how so everyone at the temple says Qui-Gon was one of the best Jedi"

"yes he was and is, but in his old age his powers started to diminish but nows era of Jedi are weak compared to the Jedi and Sith of the old days, let me see as an example we can take my ancestor Satele Shan"

Padme was more intrigued as this was his family and back on Tatooine he always seemed to be sad when asked about family but now his eyes are lighting up "what was her position in the Jedi order?"

"hmm tough question as Satele was first a Padawan and on the day her master died she encountered two Sith one of note was Darth Malgus when he was an apprentice and was the day the rule of two was used and Darth Malgus killed his master and took the position of master, then later on Satele went to be a Jedi knight with no Padawan and fought Darth Malgus and a bunch of Sith acolytes and she heavily injured him in the face forcing him to wear a jaw mechanical mask and when she showcased her abilities to hold a lightsaber with her bare hands and using the force to create a burst of energy to hit Malgus into a mountain and drop the said mountain on him and she soon went on to be the grand master like Master Yoda is today all while in a war and she even had an affair and a kid and she even had I believe two padawans in the mix" explained Kane 

Padme was in awe of the story of his ancestor while Anakin wasn't so much he was more focused on the powers that were described that she used so he asked 

"Kane why aren't we taught the powers that you just told us in the Jedi?" asked Anakin 

"well you need natural talent for them and the natural talent as dwindled significantly nowadays I mean I would be classed as above average with my midichorlian count and you would most likely be average Anakin and then lets not forget they were at war so out of desperation they would overpower using the force and discover different abilities"

Padme was frozen on something and Kane shook her shoulder "you alright Padme? what's wrong?"

"um sorry it was about that rule of two thing I don't understand that" she looked conflicted about it

"yeah its something one of my ancestors who turned Sith but then Jedi and back again did as he was always being betrayed by the other Sith so he decided to make a rule so there can only be master and apprentice and that to become the master you must kill your own master when you feel you can't learn more from them and Darth Bane who made the Sith academies was the one to enforce it that a master would go to a academy and choose a Sith acolyte as their apprentice and hope that after teaching them they would kill them and continue trying to take down the Sith with an apprentice of their own, pretty dumb but it worked to get rid of the treachery more" explained Kane
