Chaeyoung and Suga immedialtely headed to Jihyo's mother's house to confirm their concern. Something weird happened and it made both of them freak out. How come Jihyo went to meet Suga while being at the concert at the same moment. It was something that made them worry more than before and feel that there's more coming in their way.
They both stood in front of the door feeling nervous to knock and face what's awaiting them. Chaeyoung lifted her hand shakily and pressed the doorbell to be welcomed by an old lady's voice coming from the intercom.
"Hello, this is Chaeyoung. I came to meet you"
There was silence. A very gloomy silence that made Chaeyoung confirm her suspicion. She tried to be careful with her words in order to convince the mother to open the door. But before she could utter anything else, the door cracked open revealing Jihyo's mother with a pale face and a hesitant expression
"Chaeyoung-ah, is something wrong?" The lady said
"I know you wouldn't want to see me but we need to talk" Chaeyoung said
"Come inside"
With shaky hands, she opened the door and invited them in making them feel uncomfortable. They all settled on the couch enjoying the last moments of the silence before the storm.
"I was at the detention centre. I- I met Jihyo" Chaeyoung broke the silence.
"What did she say?"
"We made a deal. I'll drop the case if she releases a public apology and tells everyone about the whole story"
"NO DON'T!!" the mother yelled abruptly then looked down when she realised she overreacted "I- I mean you don't have to do that"
"is there anything you need to tell me?" Chaeyoung frowned " I have lived with Jihyo for ten years and I could tell that it wasn't her at the detention centre"
"W-what do you mean?"
"Is Jihyo here? I mean the real Jihyo not the one in jail" Chaeyoung decided that it was no use to keep beating around the bush "Just tell me the truth I beg you"
"Why does it matter to you?" the mother said in surrender "the one that hurt you is in jail, you should be happy"
"How would I be happy when my teammate is somewhere bearing the consequences of someone else's deed" Chaeyoung snapped, she couldn't take it anymore "Where is she?"
Fit to be tied, Chaeyoung stomped stood and headed towards the nearest room and opened the door to be welcomed by what made her heart clench and her tears drop nonstop. She froze on the spot and took a step back covering her mouth because of the shocking sight and that made Suga jump from his seat and run towards her .
"Chaeyoung, what's wrong?" he held her by the shoulders then looked to where she was looking "Good lord! What the hell!"
