Melissa's POV:

I feel Justin bury his face deeper into my neck as he pulls me closer to his body, his arms clinging onto me.

He inhales a deep breath before placing a sweet kiss on my neck.

I giggle a little, my eyes remaining closed.

"Justin, stop. I'm trying to sleep babe."

I feel his warm breath hit my ear.

"You don't like my kisses?," he seductively whispers.

He nibbles on my earlobe before trailing kisses down my neck.

I burst out in laughter as my eyes shoot wide open.

"Justin," I laugh, feeling him attack me with kisses.

I try to migrate away from him, but he grips my body tighter.

"You deserve to be shower with kisses baby girl," he chuckles, stopping his sweet torture.

I continue to smile and laugh at him, seeing him stare from me at the corner of my eye.

"God, I love that smile," he breathes out.

My cheeks grow a hue of red, continuing to smile at him.

His eyes pierce into mine, allowing me to see the enormous amount of admiration and love he's feeling.

"I remember when I used to hate when you looked at me like this," I tell him.

"Why? It's only because I love you and I can't help but smile," he says, rubbing the back of his neck.

"No, it's when you used to be a dick and you suddenly changed. And when you changed, my whole perspective on you changed to the point where I fell in love with you."

* Flashback *

I slam the car door as I get in, trying not to make eye contact with Justin. He pisses me the fuck off.

I see him look over to me from the corner of my eye, and it pisses me off even more.

I don't wanna look at him, I don't talk to him, I don't be near him.

I want him to stay away.

I huff out an annoyed breath.

"So, are we gonna go to breakfast or not?"

I hear him sigh. "Listen, Melissa. We gotta get along one way or another."

I scoff. "No we don't. Thank you very much."

"Yes, we do. You're gonna be stuck with me and this situation for a while. I don't wanna make it painful for you. So, can we just at least try and get along?"

I roll my eyes. "What made you say that?"

"A man who always knows what the right thing to do did. I thought of the words and how to deal with you and the situation, while Connor just gave me the advice."

He starts to engine and we begin to head to breakfast.

"How's the diner sound?," he asks.

My eyes widen. "You mean the one I work at?"

He nods.

"Um, I guess. But, don't you think that my boss is gonna notice I'm not at work on Monday and come looking for me?"

He shrugs his shoulders. "Or she'll just think you're skipping and fire you."

I stop and think. He's right. Me and Bethany aren't that close that we hang out or anything. We're just polite to eachother and say our greetings.
