CHAPTER 4: Breakout from Beyond (PART 2)

Inkwell: (accidentally being hit by X) AAH!

Four then floated towards Umbrella and shined his light towards her.

Four: Looks like you're cornered. You're only lucky that all the cameras aren't down here. Not even your partner in crime can save you now.

Leafy: He's right! Umbrella's up to no good!

X: Four!! Please tell me this isn't true!

Umbrella: ...

Inkwell: Um, WHAT IS GOING ON??

Leafy crawled towards Four and faced Umbrella.

Leafy: What do you have to say for yourself, huh? Why did you have to hurt them?

Umbrella: Ah, he's told all the lies to you huh? I've had ENOUGH of talking. All I'm trying to do is to protect everyone. But no, it had to end like this. 'Torch' wasn't even my accomplice! If you hate me so much... Then hit me with one of your useless lazers.

Four: You've always called me useless.

Four is getting his 'zappies' ready to zap Umbrella to death.

Umbrella: Heh, I knew you've always wanted to destroy me. I've even considered apologizing. But you're too far gone. Too vengeful. I'll let you have your revenge for once.

Leafy: She's taunting us, right?

Four: I can't just let her go for all she's done to me.

Four's 'zappies' is fully charged, ready to be fired towards Umbrella.

Four: Here's my parting gift, you manipulative excuse of an object.

X: Oh no...

The 'zappies' is supposed to hit Umbrella when suddenly, X ran in front of her. Leafy tried to stop X.

Leafy: HEY!!!

Instead of Umbrella getting zapped, X did. He saved Umbrella from Four's wrath. But what did it cost? ... His life. Four was in shock, starting to feel guilty about what he had done to his best friend.

Four: Did I just hit-

Leafy: ... X?

They all gathered towards X, screaming and crying. He then finds himself falling somewhere... a dark familiar place. It was cold, small light could be seen. Could it be... did they send him to hell?

THUD

X: Agh, my head. It hurts.

???: Uh... hello?

X found a greatly damaged and cracked phone in front of them, MePhone3GS. He was in shock when he saw 3GS, especially that they did not know who he was.

X: HOLY BISCUIT TIN-

MePhone3GS: H-Hey! I'm not going to hurt you... h-how did you get here?

X: I- I don't know!!! Leafy? Umbrella? Four??

MePhone3GS: To end up here, you must have... you know... died... in some way, right?

X: WHAT??? I'm DEAD? It can't be. WHY??? WHY DID I GET MYSELF INTO THIS???

3GS grabs X.

MePhone3GS: H-Hey! Chill out, okay...? When I first got here... I wasn't reacting any better. Screaming... crying... begging... Then loneliness. I've somehow accepted this void but... I've lost everyone, and they too, lost me. I was torn up by those ink creatures back in my world. Back then... I thought I could escape this hell along with my newfound friend, Pickaxe. S-She saved me from the hands of... Cobs... and it is my duty to save her too. I- I suppose I've saved her, but I'll never know how she's doing without me. Pickaxe... I've failed her...

X: A sacrifice huh. Yeah, same here. And it was all for nothing. It wasn't because of some inked objects, but I think I got killed by blocking a lazer from Umbrella. My best friend, Four, died due to unknown circumstances and he tried to kill her! Can you even believe that?? A-And he talked about some interdimensional machine and kept accusing her of being evil! I mean- Four's my only friend and my best friend. I can't let go of him, plus Umbrella started to act really creepy and I don't know who to trust anymore! This is all so confusing, but it's too late for me to go back. I'm just an idiot who deserved death.

MePhone3GS: Well... I don't think you're stupid for trying to stand up for what's right! You and I, we're just so loyal and yet so naive. I- I just wished that I was more careful, but I've reached my... end. I-I'm still sure that the rest of them can make it out...!

X: Ah, I guess this void is almost fine-

X is starting to disperse... somehow.

X: ARGH!! I'M BEING VAPORIZED!!

MePhone3GS: O-Oh! I guess it's time...

X: W-What do you mean?

MePhone3GS: Oh, letter X! I knew that you'll still have a chance! You're not too far gone, silly! Take care, letter X.

...

X can hear some voices from outside, he can somehow feel alive again. Did he get a second chance?

Four: I didn't think my zappies would be that strong... wait, he's stirring...

Inkwell: H-He's blinking!!

Pickaxe: Yeah, get up dummy! Stop playing dead.

X opened his eyes, finding themselves in the real world with some objects and Four looking at him, worried.

X: Huh... hey guys-

Four rushed towards X and hugged him. He cannot believe that they managed to revive X even though their regeneration powers are being weakened.

Four: YOU'RE ALIVE! X, I-I'm so sorry! I'm just glad that you're back!

X then hugs Four back and forgives him for his actions.

X: Hey, it's all good.

Inkwell noticed that the control room is starting to break down, there's ink dripping everywhere. Pickaxe noticed this too so they tried to warn the four.

Inkwell: Uhm... Leafy, Umbrella, X, Four? I think we have to get out of this place as soon as possible.

Pickaxe: IT'S GOING DOWN!!

Four: Oh! D-Don't worry! I can bring you all back to the ruins. But I can't, I still have to figure out how to get off my ghost form.

Leafy: No worries Forty-Four! Good luck finding a way to become alive again!

Four teleports all of them back to The Pillary Ruins, except for Umbrella.

Umbrella: What, you're not going to teleport me too?

Four: ... Fine. Killing you won't help me become alive again anyway.

Four send Umbrella to the ruins too, leaving themselves behind. They then went back to the ruined classroom and went up the front of the classroom. He started to imagine the eliminated contestants with him and had an imaginary class.

Umbrella and Four, they met again in the temple. They had an argument about something and out of anger, Umbrella struck Four with a lightning bolt.
