"I'm not sure whose twisted idea it was to put hundreds of adolescents in underfunded schools run by people whose dreams were crushed years ago... but I admire the sadism."

The Addams Twins walked down the hallway, their heels echoing as they walk to their lockers when they heard a whimper. Blair Addams, the younger twin, opens one of the lockers and Pugsley, their younger brother was gagged and tied up, he fell to the floor. Wednesday and Blair knelt beside him and untied him.

"I want names." Wednesday demanded. As the elder sister, she had the responsibility of protecting her younger siblings.

"I don't know who they were, honest." Pugsley whimpered. "It happened so fast."

"It's okay Pugsley." Blair whispers to her brother. Unlike Wednesday, Blair only showed her emotions to certain people, to strangers she acted cold but to her family and a select few, she was relaxed.

"Pugsley, emotion equals weakness. Pull yourself together." Pugsley whimpered again. "Now." Wednesday reached for the rope around his wrist, but instead her head whips back and she sees exactly what happened to Pugsley.

"Wednesday?" Blair called to her sister. "Are you okay?" She lays her hand on Wednesday's arm but instead she is sent to her sister.

"You scared, kid? Scared?" The swimming team push Pugsley around them before shoving him into the locker his sisters found him in.

"You okay?" The twins were brought back by their brother's voice.

"I'm not about to admit to our brother that our sister has recently been plagued by visions and that I have recently discovered my power. Wednesday says that they come on without warning, and feel like electroshock therapy, but without the satisfying afterburn."

"Leave this to us." Wednesday and Blair said in unison. No one messed with their brother except them.

"Wednesday? Blair?" Pugsley called out. "What are you gonna do?" He was worried about his sisters, he didn't want them to get in trouble because of him.

"What we do best." The twins stood up leaving their brother. Blair opened her secret bag she had hidden in her pocket, she reached down and pulled two bags of piranhas.

"I love that bag of yours, sister." Wednesday said to Blair. "How about some music for the occasion?" She suggested.

Blair paused to think for a moment before the perfect song filled her head. "Resonare musicam Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien."

Non, rien de rien...

Wednesday's lip twitch slightly, fighting off the smile that nearly appeared on her face. Blair was the only person who would see any emotion from Wednesday.

The twins walked into the pool room and saw the swim team in said pool. They hid the piranhas behind their backs.

"Yo, Dalton, look." One of the jocks yelled. "Pigsley's sister."

"Hey, freak." Dalton yelled, making the other laugh.

"Wow. Freak. Great insult." Blair said sarcastically.

"This is a closed practice." He yelled, ignoring what Blair said.

"The only person who gets to torture our brother..." Wednesday started. She and Blair moved their arms to reveal the piranhas hidden behind their back.

"... Is us." Blair finished. In unison, the twins dropped the bags into the pool.

Non, rien de rien

Each jock clamour and raced out of the pool.

Non, je ne regrette rien

Car ma vie, car mes joies

The coach blew his whistle frantically but had done nothing.

Yes, whistling is really going to help. Blair thought to herself. Almost everyone had gotten out of the pool except for one jock. Dalton. He had just reached the ladder when the piranhas got to him and started ravaging at him. The piranhas, unfortunately, weren't able to do the damage the twins desired as Dalton was dragged from the pool.

"Call the ambulance!" The coach yelled as he checked on Dalton.

"He's fine, unfortunately. No need to panic." Blair said, she pouted disappointingly that no damage had actually been done.

"Get away from us, you monsters!" One of the jocks yelled at them.

Ça commence avec toi

"Lovely song choice." Wednesday whispered to Blair.

"Thank you." Blair smiled.

The radio sang as the Addams family made their way to the twins new school. " I close my eyes then I drift away. Into the magic night I softly say."

Morticia and Gomez Addams. High school sweethearts. Even after all these years together, still madly in love with each other, never spent a night apart. That was the love that Blair desired, she always admired the love her parents had, always wanting a chance to find her own forever love.

"A silent prayer... Like dreamers do... Then I fall asleep to dream... My dreams of you I remember." The birds thump on the car in time with the music. "That you said goodbye..." The parents sang together. Gomez leaned in and started to kiss along his wife's arm, making her moan.

Morticia looked at her eldest daughter and sighed. "Darling, how long do you intend on giving us the cold shoulder?" She asked her. Wednesday had been ignoring her since the announcement that she and Blair would be attending Nevermore Academy, the school where Morticia and Gomez had attended themselves. Blair was excited to be surrounded by people like her instead of normies. Wednesday, however, had other feelings.

Wednesday looked at the driver, instead of answering her Mother. "Lurch, please remind my parents that I'm no longer speaking to them." Lurch grunts, causing Morticia sigh.

Gomez looked at his daughters. "I promise you, my little viper, you will love Nevermore. Won't she, Tish?" He looked at his wife.

"Of course. It's the perfect school for her and Blair."

" Why? Because it was the perfect school for you?" Wednesday asked her Mother, finally talking to her. "Blair and I have no interest in following in your footsteps. Becoming captain of the fencing team, Queen of the Dark Prom, President of the Séance Society."

"I merely meant that finally you will be among peers who understand you." Morticia said to her daughters. "Maybe you'll even make some friends." She smiles.

"Nevermore is like no other boarding school. It's a magical place. It's where I met your Mother. And we fell in love." Gomez said as he and Morticia released a yearning sigh as they reminisce.

"You guys are making me nauseous. Not in a good way." Wednesday stated. Blair sighed at the sight of her parent's love. Maybe the school will actually do her and Wednesday some good.

"Darling, we aren't the ones who got you expelled. That boy's family was going to file attempted murder charges. How would that have looked on your record?"

"Terrible." Wednesday looked at the distance. "Everyone would know I failed to get the job done." The disappointment was clear in her eyes.

"It's okay, sis." Blair leaned on Wednesday's shoulder. "We'll get the next one."

"Hmm." Morticia hummed in agreement.

Blair felt the hairs on the back of her neck rise. Something was coming. Something bad.
