Niki watched agape as Rose just walked behind Lisa and slapped her hard at the back of her head. "Don't be rude to Jennie unnie. And give me the keys, Lisa."

"Ow wie.. urghh you guys are no fun!"

"Give it!" Rose instructed again.

Lisa grumbled before she fished out her keys from her pants.

"Why are you being so stubborn! We just don't want you to hurt yourself." Jisoo interjected.

Niki remained at the door not sure whether she should leave the girls alone with their conversation. It's a small dorm. Where else could she go? And it's her dorm dammit. She has the right to be there. When Jennie's eyes turned to her, Niki visibly blanched at the ice cold glare directed at her. Just to be safe, she walked to the kitchen. Maybe she could get the other three drinks. Yep. I bet they're thirsty.

But even from the kitchen she can't help but hear the rest of the conversation. It's like she was eavesdropping but she didn't do it intentionally.

"Why are you purposely doing the opposite of what I told you!?" She heard Jennie ask in an angry tone.

"How many times this has to happen before it gets to your head. Are you trying to hurt us? Make us worry?" Jisoo added.

"I'm not!" Lisa pouted as she crossed her arms before she continued.

"I just want to take it for a spin before I return it back to Bam. Niki was with me! She'll make sure everything is safe! Right, Niki?"

She was carrying the tray of drinks towards the living room when she stopped short at the question. Three pairs of eyes looked at her curiously while another pair looked at her pleadingly.

She stammered out. "Uh uh..yeah sure. Lisa's a good driver. She drove responsibly. Not even that fast."

"Not speeding whatsoever. I can jog faster than her bike just now." Niki added for emphasis.

Jisoo and Rose just laughed heartily while Jennie rolled her eyes.

"You are a bad liar." Rose piped up.

Jennie then looked around the dorm and raised her eyebrows.

"Really, Lisa? Really? You came here to watch a movie? This place looked like a dump." Jennie said derisively.

Niki felt her defense went up. "What?! We cleaned up the place occasionally."

Jennie rolled her eyes again. "Yeah? You just need to burn the place down. It will look much better."

"Hey! Don't be rude to her! She's nice enough to let me stick around. You have no right to judge her! And I can eat or do anything, wherever I want! You're not the boss of me! You can't tell me what to do! I'm so fed up with you trying to control everything that I do in my life!" Lisa shouted angrily from her perched on the couch.

Rose and Jisoo gasped in surprise while Jennie remained silent. Jennie's eyes turned sharply to look at Lisa but the latter avoided her eyes.

"Fine. You go on, have your own damn life then. See if I care." Jennie replied before she turned around and stormed out the door.

"Wow..Lisa just wow. That's how you treat her after all she has done for you?" Jisoo shook her head as she clapped her hand slowly. She followed after Jennie.

Rose looked down at the lone figure sitting on the couch. "I'm not angry at you, Lisa. Just disappointed. We'll just wait for you downstairs."

After Rose left, Niki cleared her throat but she didn't know what to say. Instead she took one of the glasses and offered it to Lisa.

"Erm do you want drinks?"

Lisa looked up at Niki, her eyes showing regret. "I'm so sorry you have to see that."

"Oh you don't have to apologize. You are not the one being rude to me. Are you okay?"

Lisa nodded. "I'll be fine."

"I don't understand?"

Lisa shrugged her shoulders. "As you can see and hear, they just scold me for taking a ride on that bike."

"Why is that?"

"Something that happened to me in the past."

"Oh..was it serious?"

"That's the thing. I can't remember. But it really spooked them so I guess it was. That's why they are like that."

Niki nodded her head. "So maybe you should apologize to them then. Tell them it's really your fault."

"Really? Even after what you saw?"

Niki patted her on the back.

"To be honest, from what I can see, they are a bit controlling but they have a good intention. If not, they will not be here scolding you for taking that bike. They just want to make sure you're safe. You yourself said that they remembered everything that happened to you in the past. So I understand why they are being protective of you. Plus, didn't Rose just say they'll be waiting for you downstairs? That even though they are angry or disappointed in you, they'll still want you to go home with them. If it was me, I would just leave your ungrateful ass here."

Lisa chuckled. "Hey! Why are you defending them?"

"I'm not. Actually I'm jealous." Niki chuckled softly.

"You are lucky to have friends that really care about your well being. You guys grow up together like sisters even though you each came from different families. You have someone you can depend on. They'll always be there to take care of you and I'm sure you will do the same if it's the other way around. I grew up alone and hardly made any friends because we kept on moving from one place to another. Most of my friends that I manage to keep in touch with barely tolerate my existence. I don't think they really care what happened to me at all. So you are very lucky to have someone in your life that you can count on."

Lisa seemed to ponder her thoughts after her small speech. "I guess I'm just being a jerk huh?"

Niki smiled. "Yep. But they'll still love you nonetheless. Don't worry. So just get your butt down there and get down on your knees and apologize if you need to."

"Thanks, Niki. I owe you one. Oh..I want to apologize for Jennie too. She didn't mean what she said earlier. She's just being a bitch because she's mad at me and you are the nearest target." Lisa hugged her goodbye before she left the dorm.

Nike watched from her window as Lisa made her way to one of the black SUVs. There were 4 of them parked at the side of the road. Lisa walked towards the 2nd car and as she opened the door Niki could see a glimpse of Jennie inside. It confirmed her suspicion there and then. Lisa's closer with Jennie. She had a good opportunity earlier to add fire to their rift but she can't do that.

Even though her sponsor was pressuring her. They didn't see the actual bond these four have. You can't simply break their bond just because you want to have revenge on the girls. Their love for each other was genuine and she couldn't bear the thought of hurting Lisa.

She may need to confess the truth to Lisa soon. She guessed she may need to kiss her college degree goodbye after that too. As she watched the SUVs pull away from the curb, she turned around looking for her phone.

She needs to call her parents and tell them about her decision.
